any thoughts?
To tell the truth, I think they both look pretty gross. The random spots of white dots are pretty ugly looking, as are the random tiny white bushes. I have no idea what those taller white things are, but they don't look good either. On the second screen, the bushes go over the white mountain, which doesn't look correct. I'm not really sure why you chose the colors that you did, but they really don't look that great. White and green? Just.... No. As with those mushrooms, they need a fixin' too. You should definitely try and make some more variants of them, other than the current one. Like different color mushrooms, and different amounts of mushrooms per tiles, etc. I don't particularly like the design of the screens either. They seem relatively plain, with no elevation change to mix things up. My advice would be to start over, and try again with some of the suggestions I've made taken into play. I hope I've been of some use.

Ica44: The screen has too much green. Try adding some more colors, maybe water instead of that mountain block? I think it would be more appropriate in a lost wood.
i could do that, but there are a bunch of other screens like the first one. What do you think about a river through it?

Anybody got an opinion on these screens?

They're nicely detailed and look good, but I don't like the layout of the paths. Some sections extend too wide, and some sections are too blocky. You should make them more consistent. Also, there are areas where link will be able to walk into solid objects unless smart scrolling is turned on. (Although even with it on, it'll be kinda weird if the screen won't scroll when it appears nothing's there.)

Old-skool, it seems to be obvious that you dislike the critique thread, but the way you did so wasn't necessary. Since this is not part of a quest being made and is more of a pointless joke aimed at the screenshooters and critics, it is considered spam. If you wish to share an opinion about the purpose of this thread, please do so in the Assistance and Prepositions forum, or if you wish to be truly honest in what you say without major risk of a reprimand, post it in the Dropbox. May I remind you why we closed the original Screenshot thread in the first place, and penned this thread as a replacement - Some people could not take criticism and therefore would attack the critics. We wish to prevent this from happening again.
So please refrain from further posting shots that are not part of a quest that is in progress and have little value for the critics to critique. Thank you.

Sorry about this one then...
here are some screens from TGFP's(The great fairy plea) lost woods, even through i dont know why im working on it already, since this isnt even the area after lv3...

any thoughts?
Those remind me of a couple screens from Ballad of a Bloodline...I mean don't take that as an accusation that you stole them from Castchaosl it's actually a compliment. Nice design.

It's VERY reminescent of Mr. Z's quests. I'm not going to go out of my way to see if you stole screens, but if you are copying screens again, please cease.

So that's where I knew them from! I knew I had seen something like them before, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Umm, I don't think you should accuse people of stealing screens when you are not sure. You probably shouldn't really say anything.
And don't worry, I check on him a lot to see if he is copying screens and he was not. So, you sir are wrong
My computer is right by his you know.
Also, Pure V2 is a very hard tileset to make original screens due to all of the pure quest out there.

I have not been copying screens, I haven't even seen any of Mr. Z's screens in a long time, all the screens I have made in pure are all mine own.
There we have it. End of story. Let's get move on now.
Edit:
with no elevation change to mix things up.
Making elevation look right in the Classic set is rather hard to pull of for newer users.
