Oh wow. That's actually really inspiring. I'm sorry if I offended you by asking, I honestly had no idea. It must be really hard saying things and not being able to hear yourself say them. I assume you mean in that last part that you picked up the glitchy item in the desert? That was a heart piece.

In the Dark World now. I did level 3 first since it was the first one I found, and while I completed the dungeon, there was a chest I neglected since I couldn't reach it. From what the lantern told me, it looked like some ruppee guarded by these blue blocks. How do I get this thing?

Also, probably impossible to get now, but what was the key the Death Knights guarding in the first half of the game for?

EDIT: I only have 3 Soul items, but 4 fragments in my inventory, and I only beat 3 of the dungeons so far. Is this something I should be worried about, or just carry on?

The key the Death Knights were guarding unlocked the master sword. I'm pretty sure that chest is unreachable. I just put it in as a decoy. There is a way to get back to the light world, (look around with the lantern around the starting area) and you also missed the lantern upgrade I'm guessing. That soul fragment in your inventory is a glitch. And now I'm panicking because my game is falling apart before my very eyes...

Edit: So since you're so far ahead recording wise, when will the next part be uploaded?

Don't worry. It's my own fault for not using the right version, since unpredictable things happen when you don't. I could easily just slip the item out of my inventory and edit any form of commentary regarding it if you'd like. :3

Actually, I was going to be taking a small hiatus to get some more videos done. But since I got so much done today, I won't need to. XD Next video will be up tonight around 11 (EST), since I normally like to upload the a days video the night before at around 11. This way if I'm really tired, I can just leave it and it'll be done by the morning. :3

Also...Heh heh heh...I managed to beat level 7 in the dark world, which gave me infinite keys...Don't worry, though. I will actually go through and explore each dungeon like usual. It's just that I noticed you could do the dark world levels done in just about any order, so I just did whatever dungeons I could find. :3

The lantern upgrade is somewhere in level 7 of the light world. It's in an invisible chest you can find with the lantern.

This is a pretty hard but very fun quest. However i ran into the same problem as Gendof did back in December with Link being invisible in the rom hack world and in the Mirror Shield level in the part where you have no weapons. I think it has to do something with the coding in the blue and red rings because when I first went into the mirror shield level the first time, (I didn't even complete level 1 yet at the time so i had so few items) Links sprite was popping in and out but i could still see him no problem. Then as soon as i got the blue ring, i went back to the mirror shield level and to my surprise, i was completly invisible no sprite popping whatsoever. As soon as i got the red ring I went back to the mirror shield cave and I was still invisible. However i used the lantern from level 7 and even though i was still invisible, I managed to still know where i was and where i am going using it. When i picked up the key, Link was in his green tunic. As soon as Link's animation ended, I was back to being invisible and when i warped back to the main entrance everything was fine and link was back in his red tunic. However now i am at rom hack world and the only time i can see link is when he jumps. Even then it is for a brief second. What is in the rom hack world? If it is important could PM me the level 4 cheat please? BTW I am using build 1296

I'm not sure what I need to do in one room in Level 4 of the Dark World. It's got a skull you can push onto a trigger, but since there's two triggers, I can't progress. How do I go about pushing something onto the other one; I can't find anything that'll push.

I think I know what screen you're talking about. There's a hole that appears in front of one of the skulls. You need to push the skull over the hole before it appears and onto the trigger.

Finished the game. That last boss... I'm really sorry, but in order to get the LP anywhere, I had to use a bit of cheating to get back to where I was in the fight each time I died. The boss was great and I found him to be epic for a finale, don't get me wrong, but for the sake of finishing the LP, I had to use a bit of cheating. Sorry.

Also, is there any way to get back to the warp room without having to 'lose' to the final boss again? I've already beat the game, but I did some off-screen exploring and noticed that the old man mentioned a few things that were interesting to me and wanted to know if I could get back there.

Now, my other question would be how to progress in the glitch area in the Dark World. I got to the first screen and saw the gold ring to the right of the first screen, but that's it. I am doing some bonus videos to showcase the two extra dungeons I missed, but I won't be going for 100% otherwise since I don't remember which HCPs I got and which I didn't from my previous save. Not only that, but I want to leave some fun for people looking into playing the game in terms of finding things them self.

Great quest! It was a lot of fun, very challenging and very very humorous. Fun times. :3

No problem. I don't mind the fact that you cheated. That boss was really meant to be fought with max equipment which obviously you didn't have. As for "losing" to the final boss, I assume you mean the screen with Eggman? If you didn't see that, don't worry, it's nothing important. Beating the final boss should send you back to the light world. You DID beat his final form, didn't you? (you'll know you did if you saw the credits)

As for the glitch dungeon, you need to kill all the enemies and try to glitch your way into the roof of the doghouse thing. Hopefully there won't be any beta bugs again, but I suspect there will be, so you might have to use the level 4 cheat to get past a certain area. You are familiar with the mirror glitch, I assume? You should be able to do this in one room, but using the whistle instead of the mirror.

No, I saw that bit with Eggman. I thought you needed to see him so you can get the last soul fragment for the sword since you get sent back to the soul realm place with all the warps, where the last one was. But after, I got the real ending with the credits.

Also, I'm familiar with the glitch, but never really used it myself. It should be fun to try out. I'll let you know once I get back to it how the glitch area goes.

That was there to indicate that the boss had another form that you unlock after getting all the soul fragments. Chances are, you glitched it. Or maybe not. I haven't seen the episode. Anyways, I just wanted to add in a Sonic Advance 1 reference. I like that game. Speaking of the Soul Realm/warp zone, did you by chance get the playtesting gear (sword and ring that essentially makes you invincible)?

I'm currently uploading a video of the scene I'm talking about. It's on a separate account and is unlisted, so it won't spoil anything since nobody will be able to see it unless they have the link. :3 Link: Removed.

I'll remove it after, I just want to show you exactly what happened. In the room north of the green portal, I killed off the death knights in a cheap manner to find myself another soul fragment, granting me the soul sword which in turn let me finish the final boss off.

I'm just curious, if this is the wrong way, what the right way is to get in there.

EDIT: Also, tonight's/tomorrow's video is just about up.

You know, now that I think about that, all though it was most likely an accident, that worked out PERFECTLY! I don't remember if I did that intentionally, but if it was a bug, I'm leaving that one in.

It was really neat, actually. My thoughts were basically: "Well, I died. Now what do I do? I've never even found the 8th dungeon. Oh hey, there's the last item I need. Oh, that's how you beat the boss."

Also, nice use of Touhou music at the end. It really made me happy. And, if you've seen my LP of Russ' quest, I have a similar laugh attack in this quest when I get to the internet cave.

Also, one of the video's audio decided to glitch out and speed itself up a freakin' lot. Commentary is fine, but I'm going to have to cut the game audio for that video. I don't remember where it happens though. >_> Any particular music you'd like? I won't put in anything with lyrics as to not confuse people hearing commentary and lyrics at the same time, but most anything else is fine, so long as I don't get the video taken down for it. XD
