I just finished the quest. Having played most of your other quests (like Linked to the Past) I can certainly see the improvements you've made as a quest designer, but I'm sure you heard all this already. At the end of the day, all I have to say is good quest, it was engaging enough to have me tackle it all in one day across 3 or so sittings.

Are you using the final version of ZC 2.50? This seems like a bug that could occur because you're not using the right ZC version.

Im using zelda classic v2.50 - windows verision, downloaded from here http://www.zeldaclas...m/downloads.php

Can you check which build it is? (You can check that in ZC -> Misc -> About)

Jamian, you should just come up with a scripted workaround to make sure it definetly works in all versions. If you show me the script you are using, I would even be willing to help you out, by experimenting with it in the different versions

Ok, so ZC 2.50 was apparently updated again after I downloaded it and made the quest (build 26 is actually 2.50.1 RC2), and that seems to be causing the problem. Please be patient epy, I'll fix this compatibility issue ASAP.

I redownloaded ZC 2.50 from that webpage and it still says it's build 24. It seems you're not actually using ZC 2.50, but rather 2.50.1 RC2.

 

The problem has been identified (it's a bug in 2.50.1 RC2), I'm going to try and fix it but I won't be able to see for myself if that did it. So I'll post a link to the new .qst file here, if it fixed the issue I'll upload it to the database.

 

Here, try replacing your quest file with this one and let me know if it works: outdated link removed

I'll see what I can do, but in the meantime, the only solution I can think of is to use ZC 2.50 (not 2.50.1). :/

I have found a workaround (I downloaded 2.50.1 RC2 just so I could see the bug in action and find a way to fix it). I'm uploading the new file to the database now.

A question about Lvl1 Boss - Arachnophobia Demon Spider or so ..

 

Dark Link MIni Boss was easy, but that spider looks very difficult to overcome.. there are some color errors around the spider (square block).

 

I tried to fight with red candle, sword, don´t have any more items.. until now no success.. I´ll try to figure it out. Perhaps I need a special strategy?
