Gleeoks and Moldorms, I've tried doing this the good, honest hard way and figure out the maze for myself, but I'll give up before I get it.

So...I'm still slithering about the Maze Fortress, hopelessly, helplessly stuck at the second Maze I've encountered. It's the one that comes just after the maze room with the arrows and single block. It starts by going up from the room with the gigantic arrow pointing north. I bet this is the easiest of the mazes in here, but I suck at figuring out these things. I've tried going north by the way, and it hasn't helped yet.

Anyone care to direct me in the right direction again?

In that room, after beating the Fire Gels, push the block. The arrows in sequence refer to the maze solution

Are you referring to the empty room with the conveyor belt? Someone outside gives you hints on these mazes. If it is the conveyor belt room, just keep following the direction it's moving in.

Thank you pixcalibur. It worked, of course. But in my defense, it seems as if I tried following the belt and it didn't work, I must have taken a turn at some point on the first try. That, and I was looking at the arrow shaped block puzzle as a clue to keep going north. Ah well, it's over. For now...

Cant seem to locate the key in the money fortress that allows me access to the far right (where presumably the boss key is)

Any idea?

Got it! I thought I had cleared that room already though.......... odd............

Anyway, on to the next crisis..... beyond frustrated in the blue cave. I've read this thread at least four times from start to end, and cant find a way to enter the room w. the ring from the right. I know about the bombable wall that leads to the center, and the warp goriya, but even still, I cant get in that room.

Any help?

When you say you know about the warp goriya, I assume you know how to get past him.

Walk through the left wall and you'll go to the "good" room. He can warp you there as well but it's one chance out of four, if you walk through the wall you'll get there by yourself. Then work your way up.

Yes I do. I have walked past him, and gone up, and get stuck again. Those six rooms in the top center:

For the LIFE of me, I cant get in that ?????? room. You cant bomb or walk down from the manhandla room, nor can you walk or bomb left from the spiked doorway room. Whistling doesnt seem to do anything except in the two column block room

Game update:
- 60 deaths
- 7:49:42 playtime so far
- First four triforce pieces
- Blue ring, magic shield, 4-way ladder, raft, power bracelet, bomb bag, small wallet, mushroom, two slash techniques. Only one jug of magic though. I see there is another one on the way to the blue cave, but I cant figure out the puzzle around it. Blocks only seem to push inwards

This is one of the bests quests I've played so far. I'll put this up there w. The 12 Palaces. On to level 5!

Hey guys, first time poster here!! I've been getting into ZC lately and really want to play this game through, I'm just having the hardest time finding the CANDLE!! I've looked through the dungeon about 4 or 5 times, already got the keys and the blue thing, and I'm about to give up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Oh, by the way, I was wondering what the item does that I bought from a store in the first town, it looks like a piece of meat or something. It's just a red circle with bones sticking out either side. When I set it down it just kinda sits there and eventually disappears.. Thanks

I take you've never played the original Legend of Zelda. In that case, the quest will probably be quite challenging for you at times.

The item you are describing is the bait. It has two uses:
- You can drop it on the floor and certain types of enemies will be attracted to it and walk around it, giving you space to ignore them or to dispatch them more easily. This doesn't work with all enemies however.
- There is a room type informally known as "feed the Goriya" where someone, usually a Goriya, will demand that you feed him. Using the bait there is necessary to be able to pass.

Ah okay, thank you for the reply! Yes, I'm rather new at the original LoZ, and yes, I'm dying a LOT haha.

I've just found the power bracelet and think I should be able to complete this dungeon. Thanks for the help!!

P.S. In the jar cave, Do I need to kill all the enemies?

You never need to kill the wind wizzrobes in the jar cave (there was a secret passage near the cave with a guy telling you that). At this point they are tough to kill, and in this cave they never leave anything interesting.

I'm in the Boomerang Pit. I've purchased the ladder, been pretty much everywhere I can be without the key. I haven't been able to find a way into the upper left room, one below the corner, which I'm assuming has the key in it, but I feel I've bombed every wall, tried to invisible wall every possible place, and I still can't get into that room. What I'm I doing wrong?

(Edit: Nevermind, apparently, I hadn't. lol)

Alright, now I'm in the Mountain Fortress. I feel as I've looked everywhere I possibly can for the third key to the top rooms, but cannot find anything. Used the lens just about everywhere I can think of. Anyone know where it is?

The two that I found were in the narrow room and the one past the fake wall just beneath it.
