I normally would have agreed with you immediately. But being from a region that gets ALOT of snow in winter time, and also being in a city with alot of city lights, orange snow is not bizarre to me.
Most of the time you'll never see orange snow, but when there is enough clouds to reflect the city lights, and just a touch of fog, you enter a brand new world.
One time, I have walked home from work, on a trail beside a pond that was beside a playground, and I was simply amazed by what I saw. it was 3am in the morning, what should normally be pitch black, was nothing but a bright orange environment caused by the clouds reflecting the city lights back to the city. I could see every swing, every tree, even though it was 3am in the morning. It was an unbelievable sight which I wanted to reflect into this scene.
Because I am open to opinion, I will change this on the discussion.
