I'm almost finished betatesting the rebalanced quest series of mine. This takes a lot of time and I still find issues almost every hour of testing. By the way, Lost Levels is currently on hold until Atrus Wonder is back in action which will take about three more weeks.
What did you accomplish in ZC today?

I got a sideview ladder script working! And promptly broke all my other scripts. Moving platforms was easy enough to repair, but it doesn't want to play nicely with Power Bracelet and I can't figure out why at the moment. In the meantime, there's this platforming gauntlet- the blue platforms move back and forth horizontally, the traps are up-down and constant.

Oh, I dunno about that. I seem to be doing okay with it.

Today I did much betatesting for For Whom The Seasons Cycle and some screenbuilding for Nargad's Trail.

Got Power Bracelet script to work again, onto getting pits and lava and mobile platforms to work together.
In the meantime, block puzzle.

Started getting down the main map system, which will mean the map in the subscreen is no longer warranted.
Here's a preview of what I want to do with it (note: Map is upscaled to 200% magnification from what would be displayed in ZC on its lowest resolution):

Worked a bit on Lost Historia out of interest. Should get back to my Pure Remembrance quest though.

About halfway done spriting the players, threw this together in 8-bit mode because Justin (My guitarist, not the ZC-er) said he wanted to draw us, and needed a reference image.
It took way too long for being as... not good, as it turned out.

"crying" (angst . anguish, anger) because I have an item in my subscreen but it is invisable and not set to invisable and, i do have "item overide" set in the subscreen. but no image.
i can't do a thing without starting a thing. and this thing is exausting because i wanted to put pure's colors into nes and not 100% of the tiles are recolored(like the gauges and such, what c set are they?)

Have you tried changing the value of the element, itself? It's possible that the reason you can't see the item is that it's hiding behind the background. Use the arrow buttons on the top right of the subscreen editor to make sure the background tiles are at the bottom of the stack. I wrote up a basic tutorial on subscreen building a while back, you can see it here.

It used to show, but then I changed it to something else. I am just making small edits to existing subscreen. making my own never ends well because of not being able to select things.

Can you bring up the item element and take a screenshot? I'll see if I can figure out the problem
