I wonder what this are be. FEEDBACK, please.
I enjoy that you remade a screen from OoS to really show of the new tiles, they are great.

However, there are a few things I do not like.

The browns in the mountain, are a bit too dark in contrast with all of the other colors, same goes with the brown on the trees. and the dirt color just looks a bit odd too, I think it would help to dull out the color a bit, but I'm not sure. icon_confused.gif

Isn't that the screen just north of Horon Village in OoS? Looks great Marco!

Yes, it is! I'm in process of an Oracle of Seasons implement on ZC. Also.

Keep in mind, another prototype

Welcome to Merchant's Road. This area connects some of the later areas in Oracle of Awakening. icon_smile.gif By the way, the butterflies have shadows beneath them, but they are flickering. Also, they actually fly around the screen. icon_wink.gif

I'm sure the butterflies make the screen feel much more lively, but besides that it feels very empty.

I like the flow of the screen. However as addressed already, it is too... bare. I think the repetitive greens and tans is what throws the screen off. Why not add a blue/red flower or two?

I hear what you guys are saying. icon_smile.gif I try not to be too complex with my design as more simple design has proven to be much more effective when using EZGBZ. But I can definitely see about a few more colors. I mean, what harm could it do? icon_smile.gif

The coloring of the blue-topped trees and the structure to the right looks bad and the placement of pretty much everything seems completely random and out of place.

The dynamic shadows are amazing, though. And I do mean AMAZING.

To create the shadows the combos are just redrawn under themselves transparent with a slight offset and with a Cset that is all black.(i also uploaded a demoquest for that script here http://www.file-uplo...Quest.qst.html)
On my screendesign. I know that this is highly controversial but i actually enjoy colors a lot.

Personally I think screen is easy on the eye because it's not littered with detail. I like it as-is. But I think a few purple flowers can replace those bushes. icon_smile.gif

I'm not fond of the colour and design choices you made here. The details even look rushed too. icon_shrug.gif Good job on the dynamic shadows though, not exactly something I'd want but hey, that doesn't mean I don't mind seeing them in someone else's quest (this is a quest... right?).

I was planning on making it a quest, however i almost never have time and before i was drawing all shadows by hand and put them by hand which took too much time. Now i did this all by a script but that means i have to rebuild almost everything done thus far. Rebuilding is going pretty fast but even at that i simply don't have enough time to make the quest (i just started work on my master thesis).

Well, not quite a full map, but here we go. Keep in mind this is still alpha, however I feel the area is making great progress. Feedback is appreciated as always.
