Mainly designing new screens so I can release a beta soon. Still enough to do though.

Finished a test run of the second quest. Seems pretty good to go. Hoping to get a release package together tomorrow, or the next day.

didn't open it. can't figure out how to do the thing Summing Wars did with the magical and refilling arrows. and didn't finish recoloring tiles from that quest. I didn't know someone possibly alredy imported the pure pallet into classic zelda tiles. and I don't understand mass recoloring or what cset  the subscreen hearts are in

Didn't do a whole lot regarding ZQuest, but I did start Isle of Rebirth again for the 3rd time. I just hope I can beat it this time :P

(If you are asking, no this was not intentional. The actual laser will be small).

Made multiple custom tiles to connect existing MC cliff tiles to each other in new ways that you would expect in a complete tileset, but don't see in-game.

I rearranged my palette to allow a certain level's palette to be usable anywhere. Then I made an item so powerful it one shots the final boss of LQftH2. But then you have to fight something much, MUCH worse in order to obtain it. :superevil:

Made more screens in my quest and held off story progression at the moment. Currently making an easter egg area that will be very hard to find (though there will be a hint in-game). Let's say it will have tons of horrible English :P

Edit: The easter egg area is done, and I'm back to progressing with the quest as normal!

Made a few changes to AQR:

  • The Knights from the demo have been changed back to Gibdos. I will make the Knights another type of enemy later.
  • Increased L1 Hookshot's range from 6 to 7.
  • Fixed a few errors in a couple dungeons.
  • Changed Magic Boomerang price.
  • Fixed up a screen to look a bit better.
  • Enabled New Hookshot/Boomerang. Go go magic blocking Magic Boomerang!
  • Added a level 2 Gibdo, the "Hugbo" that latches onto you and drains your health rapidly. Normal Gibdos do a heart and a half on contact and Hugbos do a full heart base. Both are insta-killed by fire. Normal Gibdos are gray and Hugbos are bluish-purple.

Huge thanks to Pixcalibur for all the help he's provided. Also, should I go back and make the rings actually change Link's tunic color again?

I'm busy designing more overworld screens. This is the last area I need to make, which I put off on purpose. That's because it's snow/winter themed and I love designing such screens.

NTCC is now also fully playable up to L4, only some minor things missing in some areas. Progress is quick as the dungeons are already made.

I'm currently revisiting all of my three standard and two mini quests to include the new soundtracks from Bigjoe (replacing the ALBW one which got kinda boring and takes much space to upload when Lost Levels will be released with new music). Also, due to my new enemies I'm gonna use in LL, I thought I might give the players a taste of them and include them in my current quests. That takes a lot of time. I finished the LOZ-R1 quest, tomorrow LOZ-R2 will get some love, and so on (hopefully one quest per day for the whole edit and for Maxi probably three days). It's a good time to do this now, because currently nobody is doing any LP's of my quests, so once someone would want to, the quests would shine in their best light.

PS: Oh yeah, and I'm gunna revert some things to more original style, for example I will make Level 6 of the 2nd quest a Wizzrobe dungeon again, and Level 8 will become a Goriya dungeon as it always has been in the original. The same switch happens with Level 2 and 9 (Wizzrobe-Darknut theme change). To make Maxi a bit more of a change (e. g. not have all Level 1's be Goriya dungeons), I will swap some dungeon themes and palettes in the two mini quests.

This is not a remake of the remastered of the remake ... it's basically what it sould have been, but I was too lazy to do it. Since I got holidays now, I have the time to do it.

Finished a screen for SS:CA. I'm actually going to be on time for this round! :D

Let's say it will have tons of horrible English :P

Zelda 2 tribute?

This is not a remake of the remastered of the remake ...

I'd hope not. That would be rather redundant, after all.

Zelda 2 tribute?

Nope, it's much, much more recent than that.
