There's actually 3 warp wistles, if I remember correctly. 2 in the first world (mid-level castle and another in the third level), and one in the desert world where you break the rock at the far edge of the map, revealing a fire-bro and a mushroom house (the fire bro holds the whistle, but is a bastard if you go in unprepared)

You can also unlock a Ghost Ship and Blue Mushroom house in each world as well (Blue in SNES version, white in NES).

Mhmm, the Ghost Ship is what I call the Coin Ship :) And yeah, the Hidden Mushroom houses are annoying to unlock :/

Anyways, I hate my internet, it cuts off so randomly when playing multiplayer. Not enough to inturrupt online surfing or streaming, but just a large enough blip that, when in a middle (or beginning) of an online mission it'll cut out.

This is annoying because I was doing an online mission with 3 other people in MH4U facing a Dah'ran Morhan when it cut out about 3 minutes into the fight. On a High Rank mission. With a weapon I am just learning (Longsword).
Luckily I ended up beating the mission still, which I am proud of as i basically had to solo almost the whole thing, but the point remains.

Also, I am getting so good with the SnS. We fought a high rank Kushala Daora, and I ended up mounting him like 4 or 5 times in a row due to the rising mounting opportunity the SnS has (Mounting opportunity on the rise and descent in one go). We took him out in about 5 minutes, if even that (there where only three of us at the time).
So yeah, as I said in a post earlier, if you practice and take time to master it, the SnS is very much OP'd compared to most other blademaster weapons. I also recently mastered and learned the back-jump SnS charge attack, which is a very good move when fighting monsters who like to flail around, or is otherwise difficult to chain combos on upclose. If done right you can get atleast two hits in one go, with one of the hits being a stun attack. (seriously, why is this weapon not more popular?)

Anyways, as I mentioned, I am currently learning to use the Longsword. For the longer weapons I think it will be my go-to weapon. The Charge Blade is extremely good, but takes so long to set up the more powerful attacks! the longsword you can atleast  chain into attacks to get the spirit gage up, and can get very quick attacks with, which i was surprised with.
However, I doubt I'll be using any of the larger weapons against the quicker monsters, or even when Soloing (on purpose). I like my speed too much with Dual Blades and SnS, plus my style is too much leaning towards DB & SnS to ever gain the same level of mastery with a larger, slower, more precise oriented weapon. I'll still be using them, but not for any serious missions.

I'm starting my third run of Metroid Super Zero Mission *.* Juegaso.

There are three main reasons because this game tops easily the original source (Super Metroid):

1)You aren't overpowered against enemies

2)You can fail and the map isn't so simple

3)Sequence breaking MATTERS, and it's awesomely clever. Skill is rewarded.

The map is awesomely crafted, it has the best Tourian ever and it's full of details and surprises.

It's practically impossible to top the original SMB3.

I finished Mario Adventure two weeks ago. It was a good hack with an interesting spin with the powerups and day/night system. But it suffers by bland design at times, and be prepared for a big dissapointment with world 8 >.< I appreciated the extra challenge, but the puzzles are meh. I think that Bros 3 mix (another hack) is more solid, though this one suffers by lack of challenge and 50% of the game feels like a dejavu..

There is also SMB3  - Chaos Control.

There are alot of good original mario hacks on the webs.

I can't remember, but i swear one hack i came across had like 11 worlds - i can't recall it now or am not sure.

But i did beat chaos control before.

I have technically "beat" the offline mode of MH4U. The Rusted Kushala Daora fight wasn't as fun as I would have liked... that's the bad part of scripted fights. If I was allowed I could have easily beaten him and slain him. The fight itself was scarily easy. I was expecting so much more from it. The Frenzied Deviljho was way harder than the Rusted Kushala Daora fight.

The Apex Seregios was fun, it was a decent challenge and I loved the intro video for him!

Now, I get to do the G-Rank expeditions finally! Also, unlocked Honing, which I am looking forwards to having the Life honing on my weapons :D Heal by attacking? Yes please! Perfect for upclose fighters like me ;)

Now, all that's left for me is to do the online Elder Hall missions and get my G-Rank up and finish upgrading my weapons that I am working on. I'll probably add in the Attack honing to the ones that have the lower attack to compensate. I probably won't worry about the defense ones as I keep upping my defense in my armor whenever I can do so. Plus, the Divine Protection skill plus the Felyne Defense (hi) food skill that i usually get before any mission has me good for that I would say :P

Anyways, onward to the G-Rank expeditions!

... This just made me remember I have a whole list of games I need to get back into. I may as well list them here so I might actually play and beat them:

The Last Story, Rayman Origins, Metroid Prime 3, Metroid Other M, and Kirby Crystal Shards. That's way too many games. And they're all console too. XD I think I'll start with either Crystal Shards or Prime 3, since those are the ones I'm the furthest along in... Let's see if I actually go good on my word.

@Limebeer, I'm kinda stuck. I've been taking a huge break from the game and now my friend has advanced well ahead of me in the gam. I want to rejoin him but in order to not be a huge paper weight on my friend I must complete all the offline quests which I am finding less interesting than the online quests (To get the Wyvern Gems stuff). It's a bit fff the situation, and it was kind of annoying as well that the Fire weapon path for Sword & Shield was incomplete until some DLC came out months later that added a specific monster to the game (You COULD outright buy the next weapon, without monster parts, but it was expensive as heck and undermined the whole upgrade process/your effort you had been going through).

The Flame Syphro path or the Dinn path? I got the game after most of the DLC came out, so I'm not sure what pathway needed the new monster :S If I remember correctly the Black Gravios was needed for most of the Flame Syphro path. I haven't completed the Djinn pathway yet so I don't know about it :/

If you take a few days you can farm alot of materials online with random people to get some decent weapons in order to make the offline stuff easier. The 9 star village key quests where surprisingly easy, atleast compared to what I expected after doing alot of the online stuff. The only one that gave me any problems was the Frenzied Brachydios.

If you need, I play alot of online now and can help you get materials so you can get to the level that you'd like to be at.

On PS4: Tales of Zestiria and Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection. I'm going to try to 100% Uncharted this time around! :)

On Xbox ONE: Halo 5 Guardians. So far, it's been really great. The 60FPS really enhances the gameplay experience.

I agree that Zero Mission was crappy. Fusion was much better.

I want a openworld Super Metroid hack. Why no one do that? Super Metroid bestiary is very lacking to create dangerous environments, but still...

There's already a largely open world Metroid game, it'ca called Metroid Zero Mission and it's available for the GBA (Yes I'm partially being facetious).
