Alicorn Twilight, I'm not sure if I like this fact yet...
But I was hoping for the entire end of the episode that she'd ask to change back, so I'd say that says something...
So I guess season 4's gonna be a big change in the shows pacing, I expect an episode where Rainbow Dash teaches Twilight how to fly.

Yeah, that would be nice. I was actually really hoping to see them in the skies together.

I'm very much alright with this; with everything. There is a depth here that not many people will see, and that's also just fine. (No, even beyond that depth, I'm afraid.)

Whatever is to come in the next season, I Welcome it with open arms.

Well that was pretty incredible.

It felt like a series finale to me! Which makes me really interested in what direction next season takes.

Also I loved all the songs. The whole episode was like one big song! And I enjoyed that immensely.

Well the songs were kind of vital to the pun's premise since the title is a parody on the Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour".

Anyway, I absolutely loved it. I don't think it could have been more perfect even if Joss Whedon and Lauren Faust had written it in collaboration.

My only gripe pertains to the pacing. I felt like the conflict was resolved too quickly. But the animation was brilliant, and they made it feel as truly epic as it deserved to be. I was actually crying at the end it was so fantastic. I can't fucking wait until next season.

In conclusion, fucking fantastic.

... Whoa, really? I totally didn't know that. That's kinda neat, and the title makes waaay more sense to me now.

I forgot to complement the music.
"I've got to find a way" is my new favorite song from the series, I heard that there's going to be an extended version too.
It seems that my favorite songs from the series are the ones that sound good even out of context.

I'm not really a song person, and I didn't pay too much attention to any of the ones in the season finale there. They didn't seem that memorable; merely fillers and transitions between scenes. But that's just me.

This was the most important thing to take from the episode.

Okay, so first, my thoughts on the episode. I didn't like it. It felt way too rushed. There was no breathing room. I also wasn't too fond of the music, which didn't help considering it took up damn near the whole episode.

So blargh.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY. THIS. Can anybody confirm if this is real or not? I heard about it from my boyfriend, and then saw it on the MLP wiki, so... Yeah. I really dunno about this. I'm not liking the art style, and I'm not liking how it looks like it's going to be in a sort of middle school setting. This has disaster written all over it. I would LOVE to be proven wrong, but... I dunno.


So yeah, I'm basically really dissatisfied with the whole franchise right now.

If I recall correctly, there's teaser footage of the spin-off floating around somewhere, albiet I have yet to see it. I'm fairly skeptical of the entire concept, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Worst case scenario, it's not like it will affect the primary canon.
