  • I've been working more on the secret project. Motivation is somewhat lacking, but I'm determined to get a demo out soon.
  • I released a screenshot in screenshot of the week of a low priority project I have been working on.
  • While Lost Historia and Sword of Ruin are indeed on hold, I have been making a subscreen for both projects and I have created a ton of new graphics for Lost Historia, along with a new palette inspired by one of the Firebird palettes. I'll be resuming the secret project however.

All in all, a great amount of progress this week for all my projects. :)

  • Gave my quest a name.
  • Fixed up my first NPC screen.
  • Completed work on the first village.

Onto actually making the overworld not horribly barren.

Completed my first town. Minus creating a couple interiors. One for my House of Relics, and secondly for my Library Mini-Dungeon.

 

Still a couple things to fix up at some point, but here is a video with the first town tour.

moving changed tiles to my "redux" quest insted of moving maps to it or starting fresh.  and then hope to get help on things i can do or if anyone wants to do graphic things for me

Released my final quest "LOZ Maxi - Remastered" today. Now I can finally sit back and play other quests. I hope I can finish Randy Alpha with 100% next week. :)

i am looking at some of these tiles and wondering, if any one has fixed them, like the BS ones. somehow the skullhead deathknight is just flipped. it dosen't look right. the same for the Lynel with a shield

After not touching Crystal Crusades for a few months, 'cause of school and such, I started working on it a few days back.

 

Today I revised some old screens, trying to make older areas more interesting and fit in my new artistic vision. Like I used to make areas a little cramped and having a fixed path to walk through. Now I'm remaking screens to be more open, have different paths available, have something more noteworthy in it (an NPC, secret, house etc). I'm liking the progress so far!

same as before on the "redux" zelda importing graphics and colors and editing sprites. and I have permission to use WeimTime Midis

 

but this quest i messed up my subscreen.

and I still don't know how to do cycled combos. to make floor that rotates to spikes of various danger and floor that durns into the pit

I've been busy with Crystal Crusades once more, adding NPCs, adding new screens to old areas (because I felt they were a bit linear and small) and even drawing some sprites.

 

This is my favorite improvement I made today, the right one being the newer.

After dealing with a lot of 2.50 related crashes (now setting an item to "none" crashes ZQuest, so my only option is to delete the screen), I decided to test something for laughs. What would happen if I made Ganon the boss of say, not level 9? In other words, just another boring boss that gets a quest 0/5'ed instantly (over-dramatic) and he had the Enemies -> Item flag for that room? What about a guy giving you a Triforce piece as his "special item"?

Laid down the ground and wall work for about 50% of the first floor of my first dungeon.

 

Started working with scripts to put down certain types of secrets which should be interesting. >:~)

Don't try to take the square roots of negative numbers.

In the non-imaginary realm, I rescripted basic, default Goriyas for not at all sinister purposes.
