There were times when I thought that the episode was fan-made. The speech almost sounded mimicked, the animation was slightly different, and the general storyline and mini-events were fabricated on the spot just to have some sort of substance.

Not too bad of an episode, though. Really loved RD's imitation of a timber wolf. Badassery +10.

Was gonna say there's always mentally advanced series which is infinitely better, but suddenly the Habsro smackdown. They finally set up a Youtube filter or something?

Anyways, looks like we're finally dying. It was a good run. By no means flawless, but it was fun.

(Seriously, I don't understand how anyone can possibly like the Mentally Advanced Series. I know, opinions and all, but seriously. It's like they didn't even try. Hell, even Camaraderie is Supernatural was better than Mentally Advanced.)

I was gonna write up a long rant but then I stepped back and said, "Whoa, man! What am I doing with my life? I'm writing a rant comparing two Youtube series that mashed together clips of a children's TV show and redubbed voices in order to claim that one was better than the other. Seriously, what am I doing?" And so I stopped. I understand that you're not fond of Mentally Advanced Series and that's OK. I guess the reason I liked it so much is because I feel it captured the original brony spirit of sarcastic appreciation. You can like the show without actually taking it seriously or trying to apply it to your life and you can flaunt it not just because you like it, but for the kick you get out of it when somebody PMs you with "OMAIGAWD I HATE YUO YOU HAVE PONI AVATAR ND I HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE PONI!!!!" You see where I'm coming from?

Friendship is Witchcraft is my true pony fan series love, but I enjoy Rainbow Dash Presents as well. I've watched the Rainbow Factory video at least three times now.

That clip! That was what rustled Sherclop Pones. I completely forgot that quote came from the video itself. And I still fail to see the logic behind it...

Anyways, yeah I suppose it's actually Rainbow Dash Presents that I like, not Mentally Advanced Series (although it's OK as well I guess). I dunno why but something about Friendship is Witchcraft's voice acting just never appealed to me even before the whole social justice fiasco.

That post is from three weeks ago, and the series was banhammered just yesterday.

@Moosh, I can totally accept not liking the voice acting. It's not great. And I'll confess, the gag horns after each joke got old. But the songs were pretty spectacular, and let's face it, Sweetie Bot is awesome. I think that of all the ideas this fandom has produced, SweetieBot is one of the better ones.

My issue with Mentally Advanced is that it reminds me a lot of Team Fourstar's abridged work (which I find to be some of the least funny abridging on the internet). The editing was amateur at best and the jokes relied heavily on controversial humor, and while I don't normally get upset over controversial humor, too much of it can become tiring.

Team Fortress 2 is the best game ever, and I have a massive soft spot for YTPMV.

Just saw the new episode, it was grand

My only problem with it was that I felt it wrapped up too quick, I think it should've been a two parter.
But still, Discord is awesome.
