Considering we are less than 2 months away from USA release and nothing about the outfits being a pre-order bonus, I really doubt they will be. I'd be surprised if there was a pre-order bonus outside of Japan.

 

I do wonder if there will be an OOT/TP/Demise set of outfits for Ganondorf now. At least Ghirahim and Zant are playable, just I can't help but be bothered by how dull the gameplay still looks.

I couldn't watch the actual direct due to terrible internet.

 

That was a terrible way to advertise it. Nowhere else literally mentions it. None of the Zelda sites I checked even have this info either.

It's also said that all these outfits are available as paid DLC in the game anyway so it doesn't seem to be too big of a deal if so. I'd wonder how Japan would get the outfits otherwise as I don't recall seeing them in the bundle.

Based on how they were advertised here in the US, I don't think the translators think the DLC outfits were that big a deal, and just talked about the other aspects of the game. I do agree though, they were terribly advertised.

God damnit. I really hate to see Nintendo following suit with shitty anti-consumer modern games practices. Retailer-specific pre-order bonuses is about the biggest "fuck you" you can give to consumers. You want the full game with all the content? Yeah, well fuck you.

Nintendo, I am very disappoint. I thought you were above this. Turns out you're just behind the curve, like with everything else.

Woah, take it easy. I'd bet money (that Nintendo would take as soon as it happens) that the other costumes will end up on the eShop or always be there, just certain preorder locations can hand out for free. We'll see.
