Thanks! I appreciate it. Here are some tips for the minigames:

- Arm wrestling: There's no trick, but if you're right-handed, I suggest mashing with your right hand, you'll likely be able to push faster

- Sword game: Your goal is to beat all enemies with 20 sword strikes or less (my personal record is 13, so there is room for mistakes), it doesn't matter how long it takes you. Pay attention to game host's wording.

Spoiler

- Goron dancing: Again there's no real trick, but if you set up your buttons so that the "left arm" button is to the left and the "right arm" button is to the right, it will probably make it easier for you. That's the way it is set up by default in ZC for me, but you may have a different configuration.

Jamian, I may return to this game once the Internet is straightened out here, but first I wanna beta test Link's Quest for Canada first. I must say that I won't be doing any LPs or streams though (and probably won't be until further notice).

I have one question, how long is this quest? As I try to refrain from playing anything but quick demos due to time restraints. I have only finished one complete quest, and after playing quite a few demos I've taken a reliking to what this quest was aiming for.

To get a proper answer you'd have to ask people who have beaten it how long it took them. For someone playing the quest blind, I'd say you can roughly expect around 10 hours of gameplay (not aiming for 100% completion). So it's certainly longer than the quick demos you've been playing.

Halfway through or so.  Man the bosses can get brutal.  Some of them are more like hack and slash and trying to get the kill quickly rather than any specific strategy if there is any (not as fond of that, but oh well).  May take a few practice runs to get a run to no death and no potion use.

That's simply not true :P If a boss is giving you trouble you're probably just not using the proper strategy. Apart from the final boss, all of them are easy if you know how to handle them. You may have to try them a few times before you figure out the best way to beat them, but once you are familiar with them they will pose little threat.

As long as you use the right weapons, this quest is quite easy. Arrows can take down the majority of bosses.

This quest, in my opinion, has the best dungeons in ZC, along with Lost Isle. Though, I would desire that Jamian put more time making his overworlds in next quests. The overworld is OK, but is hard not to compare the overworld to the amazing dungeons quality (Same case with LQFTH2)

I finished the quest in 16 hours, second run in 9 hours. As long as you love modern dungeon design with gimmicks, cool tricks, scripts... Every minute of the quest worth it. Levels 1-5-7-8 in special, are masterpieces.

I love this quest. Dungeon desing is really amazing, each one of them has a really unique and fresh theme and everything in the dungeon is build around it: enemies, puzzles, setting. Great selection of music. My favorite dungeon was Level 7, a really difficult one but thanks to that difficulty the reward is a huge satisfaction. Congratulations to Jamian, I hope you keep making amazing quests such as this one.

So far I have the following:

Level 1:  mini boss is ok, boss is just spamming candle and running around the room

Level 2:  mini boss is ok, boss is a pain to dodge, hard to put distance and read when it fires at you

Level 3:  Din a pain, hard to dodge all the fire and projectiles later on.  Boss is ok if sneaking upgrades

Level 4:  mini boss is a total pain, keep falling off, hard to dodge projectiles, especially with the wind inhibiting your movement.  Boss is ok if you can get in for quick hits.

Man, I miss having the feather around, would probably solve most of my dodging problems.

The fairies are veryyyyyyyy easy to tackle with the wand. Even unfairly easy >.>

About the L4 miniboss, arrows are the key. Falling damage is minimal, so it's better evading the fire at any cost, even if you fall in total purpose.

I just picked up this quest and am playing it now. Man, I have to say that this is a fantastic soundtrack so far. I'm on the first dungeon and it fits it perfectly. The quest itself is actually pretty difficult so far (e.g falling through holes on the second floor of the first dungeon grinds my gears), but that's probably just because I'm used to playing easier stuff like the new aLttP sequel.

Fantastic work man, I won't rate it on the quest DB page yet just because I haven't played it nearly enough yet, but man is this quest making me test my mechanics, as well as think.

If you hit the statues rapidly you can really punish the level 2 boss anytime he's in the way. His projectiles just require you to not get trapped in a bad position. Din is easily disposed of with the wand. The level 4 miniboss is best fought with arrows. It turns red before it starts blowing wind so if you avoid hanging out near the edges of the screen, you can predict when it will send wind and not fall down at all. It'll only be a pain if you ignore his signals.

An amazingly wonderful quest, Jamian. I have never seen so much cool stuff packed into one game, and your dungeon design and mastery of 2.50 and scripting tells me that you must be intellectually gifted as well as highly creative. Please give us more soon!
