Yup! But since my sprites aren't flipped horizontally, you'll be able to tell easier when it's facing left, since the light source will be the same. Down with laziness! Up with animations!

Honestly, I think you should go for a more original slime design, Koh. Just because it's a remake doesn't mean it has to share the flaws of the original. Maybe try a slime with some limbs, a humanoid perhaps? Maybe a shape shifter? Just please for the love of God don't keep ripping off Dragon Quest...Wait why the hell am I posting this in this thread? /me runs

I know my photoshoppery is pretty bad, but seriously? It's one of the guards from Ikana Castle in Majora's Mask edited into an Obama campaign poster. Yes it's kinda random, but I like it...
