And trust me, every screenshot and every video so far supports my theory that there won't be any noticeable/good changes. I hear they're changing the Water Temple, but that solely by itself isn't really satisfying. They're doing that because people complained it was too hard. And we can't have something challenging in a game, right? I fear for the day they actually make "Press A To Win!" because they're getting awful close to doing that.

Usually a remake means that you revise the game to make noticeable changes outside of graphics. I mean, look at DFW's Origin. It's considered a First Quest Remake, because it includes a bunch of ZC's items that weren't in Z1 and changes the dungeons around and adds new things to do. Now look at the BS First/Second Quests. Exact ports (and not that there's anything wrong with those).

I'm not going to turn this into a argument, but they barely show anything.
The show 3 second snips of young links dungeons witch are MEANT to be easy. You can't judge it at all at this point.
You barely know anything about this game. So, just wait till you play it, or see someone else play it before you judge.

I agree. I bet they barely showed anything new when announced the remake of SM64DS.

So, i just read up (Well, saw up) on ZeldaUniverse.net, they have English OoT footage! It looked amazing, Link actually dies now, instead of just slowly falling to the ground.

I moved the above two posts from this thread to here; didn't necessarily consider them off-topic, but figured that they suited this thread better.

The vid is interesting, but I don't like how apparently you're using the touch screen for all item use. That makes me sad, just when I thought we were gonna go back to mostly button use.

The gyroscope is interesting though, but I probably won't use it, and instead just use the control stick to aim like I normally do.

It's just painful to watch this guy play. He sucks! Anyway, the graphics look really good, but not much else to say.

Really? The controls seem pretty easy enough to me, it'll pretty much be the same except there will be 4 button slots, and 2 of which will be accessible with X and Y. Putting your major items on X and Y and putting the ocarina and potions on the touch screen buttons seems like it'd work nicely. Doesn't seem that bad.

I beg to differ. That is, unless you want to wait a while.

You see, Paper Mario is not going to be released when the 3DS does. Neither will Ocarina of Time.

Those camera controls worry me...Having to turn the 3ds to turn the camera could ruin the portability...

Don't worry; gyroscope aiming is just optional. You can still use the controls, and I think the guy even mentioned that in the vid, though I'm not 100% certain.
