Emulated ... now there's an idea icon_smile.gif

Nah, I do prefer to buy games and play them legally. It's just that living in Europe, that would mean that my favourite games (SMPRG, Earthbound, Mother 3 etc.) just don't exist.

Well, I'll continue the hunt in England over Christmas.

Dosbox ... well, it depends on the game really. Some it runs acceptably with, some it doesn't run at all.

Yes, I prefer to buy them too. It's really only the ones that I can't find anymore that I emulate. And even then, I normally buy them as soon as I find them.

Awesome! icon_awesome.gif

Although he doesn't really fit in with the rest.

And this is weird. I typed in awesome, I chose the emoticon, and I then noticed the code for it is "awesome".

On a side note, icon_omg.gif can be brought up with
CODE
:omg: or icon_omg.gif
.

I'm not sure why I felt like we needed icon_awesome.gif as part of the emoticon repertoire but I think it will fit in nicely.

In case you're wondering what that is, it's a ZC-friendly version of the milkshake sprite, recolored for Classic, DoR, PTUX, and New BS. The ZIP also contains the original sprite and an overly verbose readme file.

I don't plan to submit it do the database because I'm not too sure it'd be accepted... it might have five years ago, when jokes were more acceptable, but I'm not too sure about today.

What do you guys think? Should I submit it anyway? Would PureZC be willing to host a crappy milkshake sprite like this? Would it be of use to anyone? Maybe as a cameo in a secret room somewhere? Or a custom boss with no actual animation?

I tried drawing some 16x16 Link tiles for the Milkshake, but I couldn't. I might attempt again later tonight if I feel like it.

I reposted this to the Lounge thread because I'm not sure if it deserves its own thread and it's probably too "serious" for the Spam thread.

About four days ago, one of my moms friends fixed my old computer for me.
It doesn't have it's old memory back (Not at the moment atleast), but it's just great that it's fixed. It's so much faster than before, and it hasn't seemed to give me any trouble so far.
Except for one little problem. The sound doesn't work. icon_cry.gif
It's something to do with some kind of Realtek sound driver error, I'm sure I can find something to fix it, hopefully.
Anyways, I'm using it for many things right now, like: PS1 Emulation, downloading MP4's for my PSP, using FaceBook, using PureZC, playing ZC, etc.
Once it has sound it will pretty much replace that old WinMe computer.
Which is a good thing, cause lately the WinMe computer has been giving me some kind of Malware bulls***, that and for some reason the ZC Player (Not ZQuest though) hasn't been working for me.
Probably the Malware infected a nessesary system file that is needed to play programs like ZC.
So yes, I'm really happy about the fixed computer, it's helping out really well so far. icon_biggrin.gif

I got to warn you

be careful when you're trying to install a Realtek driver. Windows corrupted on me when I was trying to install it. Just a fair warning to really READ the instructions, or you'll be seeing your mom's friend again sometime soon.

Bengal drew the original drawing, though.
