Is it the first infected Gore Magala? If so, you gotta be careful not to suffer the Blight status ailment his various attacks can inflict upon you as it will really weaken you against his attacks xD.

I've fought him twice before to drive him off, first from the boat and again to save the Ace Hunters, but this is my first hunt for him in the urgent quest to unlock the 5 star quests... I know about getting infected and how to stop from being so (attack him like hell as well as take nullberries) to get the attack boost and immunity for a while. He just has this giant explosion attack that basically takes 3/4 of my health in one go... I suspect that it has an element attack on it that my armor has a weakness to as I've recently upgraded it and don't know if the combos balance out as it's a mismatched set.

Guided Fate Paradox, a strange and challenging RPG , damn unfair , if you die you lose half the money and all the equipment ( yes .... ALL ... even swords) fortunately there is an object that makes you escape  when you want ( if you use it in time ), once i had to run away from a boss and it work

The main character is pretty strong, but he can bring along just one companion at a time.

Been playing Puzzles and Dragons Z lately, just recently beaten the second area. Forget the Super Mario Bros Edition, this game is the main attraction of the package. Whereas the SMB Edition is a cheap uninspired mess cobbled together using only NSMB material, this game makes a good effort to to present a Puzzle Game with RPG elements. This game has a lot of monster variety, though has issues with grinding when you need to grind up new monsters to put onto your team, and there are a surprising number of strategies you can take.

I've got Old School RuneScape running at the moment while browsing the forums and listening to a podcast.
Nothing quite like multitasking.

Speeding through Breath of Fire at the moment, then maybe the 2nd one after. Replayed the 3rd one not too long ago and made Ryu a magician that can't dragon dive. :>

It's also impressive that the NES can handle the insane amount of activity that can go on in the game without lag most of the time.

Finally beat gore magala, wasnt too bad, though i foolishly kept trying to use a bomb when he was low on health... that caused an avoidable knockout to me. Now I'm on the 5 star quests, and sofar they are easy... though what is up with that giant ass dragon quest? I swear it's the size of a diablos, but all around harder to hit as it stands so tall! Guess I'll have to bust out the Charge Blade to be able to even hit it on most strikes... though I fear it's laser face...
Other than that, I'm enjoying how easy it is to get the Dragonite ore in the volcano area!

Yeah, flickering is the price, though.

Shin Megami Tensei 1 on the Super Famicom. I'M HAVING A BLAST. It's my first play and I totally excited about it, the atmosphere and gameplay is superb and I love the minimalistic visuals! I love to speak with the enemies.

I'm trying to decide now... for decorations, should I keep my vitality jewels to max my health bar in MH4U, or should I go for the defense 2 jewels (the ones that doesn't take an attack -1 hit). I like having the expanded healthbar, but as I now can get the items for the Ancient Potion no problem, I can activate the health bonus at anytime for a strong monster, but with the defense boost, it would take more hits to actually wear down any health that I have. I thought about getting the Sharpener skill, but I'm more concerned on the getting hit part rather than the how many whetstones I go through in a fight as I usually have my cat partners with me to distract the monsters.
Also, for Rath Marrow... does anyone know if this is a capture-only reward, or can you get it by slaying the monster as well on low-quests?
