I made a third secret for my quest as the final update.
What did you accomplish in ZC today?

I made a patra.
*Gestures with hands*
It was this big.
Like I don't think you get how big this patra is.
It's pretty big.
...Okay, maybe not that big.

Does it fit on a single screen?

I am changing around a bunch of things in my .qst file so it doesn't look like NES Constantly but still give it somewhat the same effect.
Changing the mountains rocks and hills and things and i uploaded some stuff from the RPG maker 2000 into my sets.
Including natural colored mountain Cliff tops.
All in all, i am working on my Hybrid tileset.*

i'm feeling a whinypissybaby attack involving graphics in one of my quests that I shelved because I cannot make subscreens at all. orginal classic set is easy and simple but i like making the towns. with people. and setting up those warps was a frustration(plus that there needed to be two of them) I just don't know which style to port over of o wamt to change it. and wait for someone to fix my subscreen to have more items. I am gueessing port all the tiles i want for hybred set.. It's just i have some script instilation issues for my likelike one. and I will want them for this quest too.(like big enemy) and porting over more colors will mean needing them in combo areas so I am not lost everywhere.
so porting maps it is?

Well I had a busy ZC day with working on a script for a system that will be featured in my next quest. I have a rough build working and at the point to add all the extra features and caps to the system to prevent breaking the game. With the extra desert tiles recolored I started to design the desert area of the overworld and only completed maybe about 50% of the desert (since there is not much you can add to a desert in the lines of details since a desert is nothing but sand, rocks, and maybe a cactus or two). After this I will be working on the recoloring and designing of the main city of the game.
For the expo I will have nothing to submit other than a boring overworld with nothing to do in it and if I did not have so many delays and real world problems to attend to I could of had something for this Expo for everyone to see and enjoy maybe next time.

will they fit? back when i wanted a zelda game with a cat and not Link, the animals from rpg maker did not fit the sprite constraints.

Finished all the caves, now going to give them a wave of polish. I'll wait after the expo to properly start off Level 1.

Yes, i put even more trees on my overworld and now, plus other maps and i just entered some underwater bubble effects into the sound effects. When you enter underwater places, you will hear actual bubble sounds from the over-layer bubble in the areas meant for underwater traveling.*

Even though I've got a demo submitted to the Expo, there are still a few areas that I'm not happy with design-wise in my quest. For instance, the starting area isn't really designed the same as the rest of my quest. Everywhere else is designed like a Metroid game, and the opening area still feels too much like Zelda, and not even a good Zelda. In order to make it work, I'm going to have to make it bigger.
The problem is, the starting area is a sinking ship. After expanding the ship to make it big enough, I found that my masts were pitifully small. Just imagine a grand sailing vessel pushed forward by a ton of tiny bedsheets instead of properly-sized sails, and you'll see my problem. To rectify this, I started looking for larger mast graphics that could work for my tileset. Unfortunately, I found none. I ended up having to franken-sprite something together using tiles from Castlevania 3, Golden Sun, and Secret of Mana all put together. This is probably one of the strangest things I've tried, but I think it'll work. If I finish in time tonight, I'll probably post a picture in the map topic.
