Using Homebrew and Gecko.

Unfortunately the download there doesn't work anymore, so you'd have to get the files elsewhere or figure out how to convert the given codes to a .gct file.
You can do this pretty easy with the old Ocarina Code Manager program (should be called ocarina.zip if you find it.)
Let me know if you can't find it, and I'll see if I still have a copy of the program.

Still playing MM3D. Progress report: Just got to the Great Bay Temple, and surprisingly, going through the Pirate's Fortress wasn't nearly as bad as it was for me in the GC/N64 versions. Maybe because I can just play Zelda better now rather then when I was a little kid... or because the Stone Mask is just a game breaker.
Either way, now that I have the Hookshot, I'm gonna hold off the Great Bay Temple for a bit and complete some more sidequests and minigames to get a few more heart pieces. I'm also gonna give the Oceanside Spider House a shot and see if I can get that Wallet upgrade on the 1st Day (if that was the prize, I forget).

Stone Mask was always a game breaker, they just moved its location for some reason to make it even easier/convenient. ![]()

I still don't think it's that bad. I don't understand why they didn't have you toggle between fast and medium speeds instead of being forced to use magic, but I found the new speed actually did help a lot in indoor, tighter areas.

Lel "easier". I got caught several times when trying to move towards that soldier ;_;

I never actually knew that was changed. I don't really mind the fact that you have to use magic to go faster, since I never really use it. The only time I used that was for the Beaver Bros minigame (which I hate so much, those two beavers can go to hell), and to open up doors and kill those sea snakes at Pinnacle Rock.

I'm enjoying the new good Zora Link yes.

I've been playing a lot of Lost Dimension for PS3/Vita. It's a pretty solid experience so far. It's like Danganronpa meets Valkyria Chronicles.

I've returned to playing Spirit Tracks and finally FINALLY finished the duet with the Sand person... gah that was so annoying and frustrating! However, I can now progress in the game again finally.
I'm doing some transporting miniquests right now, as well as will be trying to capture more rabbits before tackling the Sand Temple.
I've also been playing Etrian Odyssey Untold, and have been enjoying playing Oracle of Ages on my off time. I am dissapointed that the Advanced Shops are not open in the 3Ds version of the games :/
Side note, I'm going to be needing a new Memory Card for my 3Ds soon... anyone know where I can get a good decent one?

Although the 3DS gives you a size restriction on the SD card that you use, it's actually possible to use a much larger one and get it to work properly. Here's a thread that tells how to get it to work. The person sets up a 64 GB card, but it should work with anything larger as well. Get the largest size you can, and you'll most likely never need to get a new one ever again.

(While on the site, look into something called Ironhax. It's supposed to let you install homebrew and emulators to your 3DS without having to buy anything. The exploit itself won't be released for a little under a week, but they're already telling people to download Ironfall from the eShop, so people have a chance to do so before Nintendo takes it down. They don't like homebrew, even though the new exploit doesn't allow pirating 3DS games.)
Anyways, I'm finishing up Dream Drop Distance. I'm at the point where I'm about to fight the final bosses, and I'm holding off on that until I can get enough stuff together to put together a full set of star-rank Dream Eaters. I want to get all the optional stuff done before starting a New Game Plus, so I don't have to try and get it all together on harder difficulties. Higher ranked Dream Eaters will carry over, and give me a bit of an advantage when I'm ready to take on Critical Mode.
When I finish Dream Drop Distance, I've already gotten a copy of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, and Bravely Default. Not sure which one I'll start next. Probably PLvPW, because I'm a huge fan of both series.

Two worlds left in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Game's either better than I remember or plays much better in 60fps. Got used to the controls pretty easily too, so that's a plus. The bosses are kind of annoying though, as I remember; Tropical Freeze did a lot better in that regard. The boss fights drag on a bit too, and this is still a semi-problem in Tropical Freeze; I say "semi" because the fights, being better in Tropical Freeze, are much more enjoyable, so it's less annoying.
Along with that, I started Castlevania: Dracula X, the SNES port/remake of Rondo of Blood. I got to default stage 5 (I'm not going for secret exits or anything, combination of wanting my subweapons instead of the key and also getting my ass kicked would lead to losing the key anyway), stopping for now, will return later. This game... kicks your ass. I might call it tougher than the original NES one so far. The bosses can catch you off-guard at first, but aren't so tough after you figure them out; it's the levels and design and enemy placement and yet-again stiff jumping that's gonna give you a hard time.
The only reason I'm playing this was because I was morbidly curious and, since it's considered inferior to Rondo of Blood, I want to see how the two compare afterward. Also the soundtrack is superb, especially for Super Nintendo.

MM3D Progress report: Finished the Great Bay Temple, and surprisingly it wasn't as complicated as I had expected it to be. With how things are going, the Snowhead Temple seems a lot more tedious than the Great Bay Temple, mostly because when you fall in Snowhead, you have to climb aaaaaall the way back to the top again, and that is very annoying when trying to collect that one Stray Fairy hidden inside the wall.
Either way, now off to the Ikana Canyon. Also, quick question. On the Final Day, you can open up this one grave in the Graveyard that leads to Dampé's house... however, what's up with the blue flame that gets digged out? Is that like Blue Fire or something? I tried to catch some in a bottle but it didn't work. Also, I noticed there are some patches Dampé can't reach, so I dunno if something needs to be done there or if it's got anything to do with those two big switches I see on the floor, one on the left and one on the right.

Been playing Yoshi's Wooly World lately and am currently up to World 5. So far, the game feels like Yoshi's Islands' spiritual successor but I wish it had more new ideas to bring to the table and did not rip ideas directly from YI (World 2.7's central gimmick in particular was a direct rip from YI).

there's actually 3 blue fires that get dug out. You have to lead Dampe around with the Tatl until he uncovers them (I think that there's one in the center mound, than the other two are accessed via two switches)
After you uncover the three flames you get a treasure

Ah I see. Well, I can get one of the flames, which is right in the centre of the room. Any idea as to how I can reach the other two? Dampé doesn't seem able to climb stairs or any of that and I found more patches of dirt in places he can't reach.
