Began a bit of work on Rolling Ridge, hoping to get most of the area completed in the upcoming days and then begin Level 5 (hopefully lel)

I wouldn't say accomplish... but I tried to beat 2 levels in TRIFORCE. Didn't go so well....

Worked on the BSMC tileset a little bit. I'm hoping to get a lot more done soo, so I can get a beta out. :)

I'm sweeping through my whole game and making small fixes such as: better visuals, made some annoying one hit kills only do 4 hearts of damage, added more variety, added a dash of scripting in some screens, etc ... This is making "Mike's Fun House" into an, overall, higher quality quest. I've made these changes to about 20% of my whole quest so far.

I came up with (what I think) is an awesome idea for a mini-boss in my dungeon for when you get to the second part! Basically, you need to use the hookshot to get to platforms (as the miniboss is on a middle platform but is unreachable to hit) and you have to hit switches in order to activate the magic reflectors to divert the magic he shoots back to him. However, every time the magic hits the reflectors it changes it back to an inactive combo! If it works out right, you won't have to change every one back but just the one that got hit initially to keep it less of a headache ;) I might add in randomly spawned summons too, depending on how hard the miniboss is on his own :)

Successfully combined two global scripts. One of them being written by myself (Although being very basic). Made some additional fun stuff in some areas. Polished some areas. Enabled spacebar map. Added more secrets.

Made a Wolf Familiar item for the Ranger class in my unnamed quest. Once you acquire the Wolf, it comes with you on every screen. The wolf is a ghosted walking enemy that doesn't hurt you and wanders about on its own. If you get too far away from the wolf, it runs toward you to stay nearby. If an enemy passes close enough in its field of view, the wolf lunges towards the enemy and damages it. If the wolf is run into from behind by an enemy or hit by a projectile, the wolf takes damage. It regenerates a little bit of health over time, but if it sustains too much damage at once it dies. Then, after a one minute delay a new wolf returns to you.

Spent 3 hours finding 50 different ways to get this obnoxious fire peahat script to not work.

 

Went back to being productive.

Today, I finally learned how to put borders around my strings.

 

I had almost 300 strings to put borders around today.

 

Mike has his own unique border.

Today I got the majority of Moblin's Fortress completed. All I have left is the boss and then I can work my way to Level 5.
