Im not even into level 9 very far and Ive already come unstuck...

So.... if I only need to complete level 5 to complete the ??? dungeon, where can you get the magic shield to deflect the wizard's beam? I am missing the boss key for that level and have found 3 keys... used 2 of them... last one you need to access a warp which appears you need the boss key to get which I am assuming you have to kill that wizard which requires the magic shield...

 

You get the mirror shield after finishing floor 7 of the Tower of Courage. 

 

From Entrance 1 of the ??? dungeon, In the top right hand corner you will see a Ganon statue and some eye statues doing a countdown… hang around in that room like you've got nothing better to do...

Yeah that block puzzle is loads of fun it always takes me a while to solve that one and I know it can be solved a few ways since I never do it same way.

EDIT: Nevermind, I adopted an up down mentality rather than a left right mentality… and as soon as I did that the puzzle was done!

When I do that puzzle I aim for a L shape at the bottom part and it opens up from there.

He is so random so his attack pattern is unpredictable it is up to ZC what move he is going to make. 

 

The two knights noted that he was weak against the arrows and all you have to do is wait for him to lower his guard and all out attack you.  (The arrows will only stun him like in the Ganon fight in Ocarina of time which opens up the attack).

 

Other than that it is just dodging and killing slimes.

My question is whether or not I can see when I've damaged him. After I've stunned him with arrows, and tried all manner of follow-up attacks, will I be able to see which attack is actually inflicting damage. Usually there's flashing or the damage sound.

After he closes his eyes and you can attack him, to know if your attack went through is his eye will flash colors and he will resume attacking you. You will hear a block sound if your attack is not working.  The arrows are only good at stunning him use your standard attack to damage him. 

Joki yes death, the f6 continue, and the occasional wall master are the only ways you can get there.

Ive just got the legendary tunic, and now am wondering what to do...

 

Stuck in 2 rooms, the first is the room with the bathrobes and the Zora. The door doesn't open when I kill them all.

The second is a room where Im fighting black wizzrobes… can't damage them for love nor money… don't tell me, do bombs work?

Oh those guys they are harder mirror robes.  You have to use the fire boomerang on their shots.

Coming back from a door I found myself into a right black room.

Do you know which door or what location? I been trying to recreate that to correct it

Joki you have to kill those Magic Poe Voices easy trick is hit and run.

You have to lower the water to lowest stage (Which there are 3 water levels) and go in the room in the top middle area and that will open the way to the tunnels.

 

Found another switch and still missing one key. Still looking for the hammer.

with that cut scene it shows you a dive location to where the switch is to open that pillar that is blocking the hammer (The location for that dive point is the middle east area, you also have the space bar map to help guide you there.  The water level will have to be on the lowest stage to be able to access that dive area) .
