[Nicholas Steel]

Cloud Saving is when your saved games are automatically stored "online" for you to access from any PC. It's a neat idea, but I wouldn't like games to make exclusive use of it and forgo local save capability as I simply do not trust an online service and their hardware as much as my own hardware, especially for something as important as gameplay progress.

MMO's are an exception as they require Cloud Saving to ensure the integrity of the game.

Little Mac looks really fun to play as. A fine upgrade from an assist trophy to a confirmed character.

Just found what appears to be a leaked character roster screenshot but, judging by the confirmation of Little Mac, I question its validity. As in, he's not on this roster so it's probably bull but I'm sharing it nonetheless.

I've seen this, and I doubt its validity as well. I'd be okay with this roster, but I doubt it's legitimate.

Just before E3, someone "predicted" that Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Little Mac, Pac Man and Mii's would be playable. In spite of the incredible luck of predicting someone like Ms. Wii Fit, the rumor seemed largely ignored for awhile now. But with Little Mac's reveal ...

 

This guy's 4/6 now. I'm thinking he must know what he's talking about.

Little Mac's pretty darn cool and that was an awesome reveal.  Also, sorta saw it coming what with the whole "LOOK AT THIS BOXING STAGE" in the first trailer.

 

Still holding out for Palutena.  Although at that rate, the game will explode from having way too many awesome characters.

Palutena would be great, even if she's not my top choice for a second Kid Icarus character. I mean really, she's more of a commander than a fighter. Magnus would have been the more logical pick. But hey, I'm not gonna complain about any new character, especially not a Kid Icarus character.

Magnus would be like Ike, I'd imagine, only swifter. I'm not too sure he'd be very interesting.

I could see Magnus being similar to Ike, although with more wind-based powers rather than fire (if you ever use the Magnus Club, that tornado move is awesome.)  Either way, there's enough to work with him to make him a solid addition to the roster.  As for Palutena... my argument stands at this: Zelda is playable.  They could easily make a set of moves for Palutena, I think.

 

(Also I just really want her because she's like one of my favorite video game characters in general)

Little Mac looks like a very bland character honestly. Not a positive from me. Assuming he's another retro character as well as I'm not too sure with what he's from.

He was an assist trophy in Brawl.  He's from the NES game, Punch-Out.

Little Mac's in? Good news! Finally another character that's more along the lines of what Smash Bros. is supposed to be about: having actual recognizable Nintendo characters (and occasionally some of the major 3rd-party ones) fight each other.

 

(Not sticking in random no-names like the Wii Fit trainer and Animal Crossing villager.  I have nothing against the idea of an Animal Crossing character, it's certainly a series that's been around long enough and gotten enough fans to justify being included in some way... just try to get someone that has an actual name and not a generic title.  Wii Fit Trainer can go fall down a hole, though.  Seriously, I'd rather have people playing as one of those living Wii Balance Boards or something if they really had to include a Wii Fit thing.)

 

I really hope Pac-Man doesn't end up getting in, though.  I just really hate the 3D Pac-Man design, and if Pac-Man is in as anything beyond an assist trophy or something it's almost guaranteed that's the appearance they'll go with.  Pac-Man should remain a yellow circle with a mouth for all eternity, not this goofy big-nosed awkward-looking round thing with arms and legs...

Not to mention, he's from old Punch-Out arcade games, Punchout SNES, and "Punch-Out!!" on the Wii.

EDIT2: Either way, Little Mac is quite a popular character, and I honestly wanted him in the next Smash Bros game, so I'm excited for his appearence.
