That looks much better than the first, although now it seems empty without any guards. But besides that, looks better!

Love the castle, Shane. All the ruler of it needs is guards and you're set haha.

http://www.mediafire...ck/zelda102.png - Full map of level 5. Since I have the two floors on separate maps (they're both Level 5 in the editor), I had to do a bit of fancy work to get both floors in one picture. A few small notes:

-Usually rooms with sand in the middle contain keys although in rare cases you can get other items there

-The gray keys are level specific keys

-In B2, the large 3x3 room is entirely flagged as an Interior

-All stairs directly link to the other floor

-Originally these were two separate DMaps since I'm used to doing it like that so again, I had to use some pro MSPaint skills to show both floors in one picture :P

This dungeon also has a huge foul shot if you didn't buy one of the hints for it. In the Triforce room, you can push one of the blocks to get access to the Silver Armor (aka Red Ring). If you didn't buy the hint (there is a 1 Rupee hint that tells you you really want to know about it too), you could end up making the quest harder later on. For general design, there is a bit of going to and from the floors and this is my first time using interior rooms inside a main dungeon. Overall, quite a bit of back and forth walking and a lot of jumping over lava for the latter portion. Difficulty shouldn't be too bad as I threw a few breather rooms in and most of the dangerous enemies are used sparingly.

EDIT: I plan to switch around the Triforce and Silver Armor locations such that you have to go into the item cellar to get the Triforce piece and you get the Silver Armor above it.

^ I love Level 5's map, especially that huge 3x3 room.

And now, new map coming your way!

W3E0sP5.png?1This is Level 8's map in my current quest project. You may notice most paths lead out of the map, but actually this dungeon is more of a warping maze...

I remember you sharing that one with me Eddy. That dungeon is pretty mean I have to say.

Also, gonna share my map for level 4 while I'm at it. Feels a little large for a level 4, but oh well. Oh and this one is only one floor. I edited out all of the layer screens from this picture and downsized it to be easier on the forums:

I give thee, Club Darknut! If this isn't the hottest knight club around, I don't know what is :P

^ Ah yes, Club Darknut. I remember you showing that one off to me over a Skype call. That was a pretty epic and creative dungeon IMO.

Kudos to anybody who can tell what I tried to recreate here.

Didn't mean the map layout lol, I meant the graphics used.

But extra kudos for map layout too then lol.

This looks really awesome! I especially love the bridges over the mountains in some areas.

My turn for yet another map of one of my projects:

My first "Dungeon", and also the end of my demo for the upcoming Expo. (Obviously not finished quite yet, but I need a break for a little bit.) It's not really a dungeon, though. The quest is structured a little differently than most, and it's not really a level as much as it is just a place to stick a boss fight. The rest of it is kind of padding so that the player has time to actually enjoy the aesthetics and the theme. There's going to be four areas like this, each containing a climax-type boss fight.

I'm rather pressed for time, so the edges of the cliffs aren't quite as clean and neat as I'd like, and the background is temporary as well until I find a better one to fit the theme. Still, the background is animated nicely and the next demo will have the cliff edges tidied up and the extra tiles that are needed to do so all put into place. Still, with the corner-cutting aside, what do you guys think?

I really like the look of it, kurt! Even with it not being completely finished, I think it still looks really nice. I'm definitely interested in your expo submission now!  :nerd:

That looks pretty cool, are the holes on the walls where traps will come out from?

http://www.mediafire...d1_Improved.png - After talking to my friend Eddy and another member on here (who will remain anonymous out of respect for his privacy), I figured just before the Expo I would give my overworlds serious makeovers. This is all that I'm posting.
