You're banned because having seen both, I can tell you that they're actually equal, but for completely different reasons.

Kamina accepted death because he knew all along that it would be Simon who would shine on. His goodbye in 26 was painful because that was basically him passing on the torch to Simon.

David Tennant's doctor, on the other hand, regretted all of his decisions and didn't want to die because he had so many wrongs to right. Not to mention he was a kick-ass actor and it was heartbreaking to see him leave the cast.

EDIT: I'm banned because I was under the impression you were referring to Gurren Lagann. I can't dumb today, I brained my stab.

You're banned because I actually laughed at how you assumed it was GL. It wasn't. it was even a TV show, although it has been turned into a show (which I watched a few years back and will watch again now).
