WHY THE HELL DID YOU READ CUPCAKES?!

Here, here's something that will immediately dispel that sickening feeling:


It's like Cupcakes without the gore (the gore is just implied). After reading Cupcakes, I had this horrible feeling in my gut for about two weeks. Then I watched this and the feeling went away. When you watch this, you realize that Cupcakes is just another silly little fanfic, and that fanon!=canon.

The video actually embellishes on the concept quite a bit.

The original "Cupcakes" was really just Pinkie Pie chopping up Rainbow Dash and using her as a key ingredient in her cupcakes. Nothing really happens, except you find that a bunch of BG ponies (and Gilda) bit the dust the same way. But a lot of stuff is left open ended. And Pinkie Pie has this line "I was so excited when I found out your number was coming up!" that only serves to make you more confused about the truth of it. But really the mass of the story is just the process of Rainbow Dash getting brutally murdered. It's kind of a silly little fanfic, but it's so well written, and it feels so canon, that you leave the story feeling like Rainbow Dash is genuinely dead. Hence the feeling of emptiness (no pun intended, sorry RD), and all the other aforementioned symptoms.

Also, there's this fanfic called "And then She Exploded...Twice!" that basically ridicules everything about excessively grimdark MLP fics. The basic premise is that Rainbow Dash is reading all these fanfics, and is disturbed by the fact that every time they feel the need to kill a character, it's ALWAYS Rainbow Dash who gets killed. So basically she writes her own fanfic about herself, and it turns out just awful but she thinks it's amazing. It's pretty hilarious.

Cupcakes

Cupcakes is like...baby's first gore fic. It really isn't as bad (or I guess you could say well written) as most people make it out to be. Yet it's funny how I can make people cringe just by mentioning it.

I can never look at Pinkie the same way again, everytime she does something weird (especially if it involves cupcakes) I immediately imagine her killing Rainbow Dash >_>

Oh, and I successfully converted my first Brony, I'm working on two other people now.

You said "who are the other two?" so I went with the first two that came to mind. I then didn't realized I'd missed a third one:

Relic - Snooty, glamorous pony who wants everything just-so.

Well, she's definitely a tomboy. And for good reason. I've heard that the creator of the series wanted to put in more major boy pony characters, but Hasbro vetoed that. So she made Rainbow Dash into a tomboy instead.

Good choice, I say. But it certainly led to some speculation about her orientation. Not that there's anything wrong with that . . . . . . .
