(And yes, I am aware that there was no way of it ever changing.)

I'm talking about the distance. It's common knowledge that if you look at a mounta-- nevermind, I'll just find a picture. http://www.fun-costa...ntain-range.jpg
See how everything in the distance is semi-faded? That's what I mean. I only "overdid" it in my screenshot to show what I meant even clearer... I suppose I failed there
Basically, what I'm saying is that they need to add a bit more depth. Imo. They already have this "fading" I'm speaking of, but it's so under-done that you don't notice it too well, and then the point is really lost.
As it was on the last page, I'll just quote it:
Original:
My crappy Photoshop-edit:

My skills with the shop aren't that good, and I didn't exactly spend a lot on time on this... plus, I think I overdid it a little too, but either way, it'd be nice if they tried doing something similar, as it really makes the field seem a lot larger than it is. *shrugs*
Either way, I do think the graphics are looking nice, but... I just can't help but feel that they should have gone a little further, especially seeing as the 3DS is most likely more than powerful enough.
The castle isn't that far away from Link. The foggy look in real life only happens if it is really far away but still close enough to see of course. That's what makes trees look blue from very far away.

Anyways, looks pretty nice and I can't wait. Though it saddens me they apparently couldn't touch up the Great Fairy's model. That is one heck of an ugly fairy.

And yes, he does run faster. I love the new way he jumps, like a jumping jack. So cute
But yeah, the Great Fairy was shocking to me too. Fix her up, Nintendo! And show us some Adult Link!!

She still looks really blocky from what I saw.
Also, it's not going to be any different from the Nintendo 64 version. I heard a rumor that there is going to be an extra dungeon
but I don't think it's true. It's just a remake and that's all it needs to be. It was an incredible game that not much could make it better
besides better graphics.

Look I've complained endlessly about how people blindly follow OoT like it's some kind of GOD, and people really don't need to hear me again, but just so you know, some of us would like non-empty Hyrule Fields, new puzzles that actually require an IQ of over 15 to solve, and enemies that can actually kill us.
I don't want to be "that guy" all the time, but seriously? Nintendo could've played around with a lot, but they really actually just don't care. They're going to sell millions of copies just based on a couple words on a box.
Edit: And just to make a point that might actually be considered valid- I've had an N64 underneath my TV for 12 years, and OoT for 11 years, and I used to play the heck out of it. Can you really blame me for wanting something more fresh and less of the same?

That's not called a remake, it's called a port. A port salted with some better graphics and 3D.

Do you even know if it is or isn't going to have extra stuff in it? And the puzzles are only easy because you've played it before and
know how to do it. Back then, people didn't know what to do and where actually lost. But now I can pretty much beat the entire
game without any source at all. I'm sure they'll s*** it up a little bit. And I'm pretty sure it is completely remade. Not a port.
That's just what I think judging on the differences.

^Generally sums up my feelings (read the mouseover text too!).
And trust me, every screenshot and every video so far supports my theory that there won't be any noticeable/good changes. I hear they're changing the Water Temple, but that solely by itself isn't really satisfying. They're doing that because people complained it was too hard. And we can't have something challenging in a game, right? I fear for the day they actually make "Press A To Win!" because they're getting awful close to doing that.
Usually a remake means that you revise the game to make noticeable changes outside of graphics. I mean, look at DFW's Origin. It's considered a First Quest Remake, because it includes a bunch of ZC's items that weren't in Z1 and changes the dungeons around and adds new things to do. Now look at the BS First/Second Quests. Exact ports (and not that there's anything wrong with those).

Anyone else think that the Great Fairy and Ghoma look EXACTLY like they did on the N64?

I'm not going to turn this into a argument, but they barely show anything.
The show 3 second snips of young links dungeons witch are MEANT to be easy. You can't judge it at all at this point.
You barely know anything about this game. So, just wait till you play it, or see someone else play it before you judge.
