So, did anyone beat the game yet? I just finished the 4th Dungeon. The 4th Boss is my favorite boss in the game so far. It reminded me of a boss in Twilight Princess.

I beat the game. The fourth boss is pretty good, but I like the third one better. Well, specifically the part that's technically before you fight him. Everything about that, like the creepy music, and the bosses creepy screaming, was just perfect.

Anyways, I beat it. It's amazing.

Do you unlock a form of faster travel at any time? The train is so slow! I'm only just after dungeon 1 and so far the train is incredibly boring.

So far the overall experience has been favorable though. I'm playing on an emulator and theres some very minor graphical glitches... from what I can see the game is pretty darn ugly compared to the gamecube/wii icon_razz.gif but the music is pretty good.

My 2 annoyances so far are

1) Slow train
2) Sword attacks are very awkward to perform (maybe not with a stylus...), gimmie a button and everything dies.

How... the heck is that even comparable? It's not a Gamecube, and it's not a Wii either...

Anyways, yes, you unlock a faster way of travel. icon_wink.gif

Get the real thing then. Of course it feels awkward on a computer, but on the DS, it feels perfectly natural. By the way, at a certain point, if you can't get the sword down, you're gonna die. icon_twisted.gif

Anyone else disappointed that neither the 4th of 5th dungeons took all that much longer than the others? Great puzzles and use of the items, but it beat them both in less than an hour (each). icon_unsettled.gif

They were short, but they were so fun that I didn't really mind. icon_razz.gif

Just picked up this game yesterday and I just helped Zelda escape. Loving it so far. Of course I had no doubts it would be amazing, it's a friggin Zelda game people!!

Although I have a funny story about when I went to Gamestop to get it. I went to the counter to get the game, because I guess so people can't come in and steal it from the shelf? Anyways I was like "Hey man I need Spirit Tracks for the DS" and he looked at me blankly and was like "What game? I.... I've never heard of that one, did it just come out?" and I was like "Uh yeah it's Legend of Zelda... just came out" and the other two guys that worked there started busting up laughing at the new guy working there because he didn't know what the game was. The one guy was like "Yeah man, it's one of the best games DS games of the year and it just came out you idiot." LOLRUS!!! icon_lol.gif

Just got it for Christmas, and I'm loving it. :3 Didn't expect it to be nearly as good as it is. It's sorta reminds me of Paper Mario...but Zelda...which just makes it ten times better.

^This.

Any of the guys that got past Level 5 yet think the item there was, uh...Awesome but Impractical? I mean, it was a cool concept, but it was pretty specialized...I was expecting Roc's Feather in there, actually.

Ya, it was a little bit impractical. Not many uses for it outside the level. But it's still pretty awesome. Nintendo thought of some ingenious puzzles centered around it.

Yea, the level 5 item is pretty limited in uses. I have used it to get about 400 hidden rupees in the 5th sanctuary though, and 300 more rupees, some treasure, and an Alchemy Stone in a hidden station. So it has it's lucrative uses.
