Lookie, it's Naruto. He sure loves his Ramen.

I...colored him in. First time I've ever colored something I drew on the computer. So go easy.

Those are what happened. I colored the first time with just fill-ins, but then I decided to try to shade. It's very difficult for me.

Select different brush types for different shades. Also, it's very pillow-esk. You just shaded around the lineart.
Also, you're not using layers. Layers are vital.
The lineart's too thick and and blocky as well.
When in doubt, try to copy somebody else's art.
Chances are, if it looks the opposite of theirs it's wrong.

BTW, I know about layers. I'm just not very good with layers yet. I finally got that down though. What do you mean by different brush strokes?
