Thanks for the feedback guys.

Right now it's not much, but I got the basic design of the screen in place. I've begun to use more detail, background transitions, etc. Since it's a beta, of course it lacks real detail with a sky. However, once I complete that, I will be sure to post the final product.

I like where this is going. Reminds me of Kirby's Adventure, only dark.

That looks great! I have to say the graphics remind me of Mega Man 2.

Interesting; do you plan on having some sort of sun in the background?
I like the pallet a lot.

I think the sub-screen Needs something in the background. Right now as it stands to "me" It looks a little dull.

Lol. I took the wrong quote from Jared's post. I'm speaking about his shot, though

It's so vibrant and alive, saturated with color. The green and red blends perfect, I have nothing to complain!

And it's not GeminiMan from MegaMan III. I took the tiles from CrystalMan's stage in MegaMan V

As usual, it looks good. But I'm not a fan of the position of the flowers on the left, maybe because it's the south one blocking the peg. I'd say remove that one and it should look good (or maybe move it over one tile to the right?). icon_smile.gif

EDIT: Also why not use Yoshimi's Moblin tiles? I think they'd work well here.

What's wrong with the current ones? I think they work better, to be completely honest.

As for the screen itself, I have no complaints. The pine tree without the trunk seemed a little weird at first, but I think it works. Nice screen all around.

I never really said the old ones don't work, but I can imagine Yoshimi's fitting in more with Link and the Crow in terms of shading.

I'd suggest not to use my Moblins. I've f***ed them up when I changed from BS to GB animation and now they look funky icon_frown.gif I sadly don't have the BS version anymore. I also had similar ones with bigger heads but they are lost in the void, too.
