In case my tone was a little too harsh, I apologize. Your original post was something like "Could somebody explain to me what went wrong?" and I thought "Well, I can try.".
Edit: Besides, everyone else seemed to like it, so maybe I'm just weird and you shouldn't listen to too many of my screen design opinions.
It looks a lot better now. If you keep the same guidelines in mind while building any other GB (overworld) screens, you'll be fine. May I ask whether you are just fooling around with the tileset or planning to use it for an actual project?
Edit2: Just found it your other post;
QUOTE
On a side note, do I have permission to use that palette there? It's much better than the defaults in the GB tileset, and I'm pretty horrible at making palettes.
Go ahead. I believe I've made it for someone but for the love of everything that's good and holy I fail to remember. I doubt anyone would seriously mind, though. (I just checked it. It's called "LtM Hyrule"; so I suppose I made it for fairy dream. Maybe you ask LtM or Nick if you want to use it? In any other case; there is a custom palette in the screens below that you can use.)
Also, I'm always glad to be useful.
Edit 3 (I'm on a roll!

):

This is old stuff. Disregard the screendesign, that was for Z3 scrolling (actually, this stuff is MotM alpha). I'm posting these merely for everybody to rip tiles and the palette if they want to. Maybe somebody has use for this stuff.
Edit 4: You know what?

Happy ripping. I've complied the few edited tiles here into one page for easy ripping. It's really just edited stuff from the GB tileset so no credit is needed. Hm, I missed the flowers. I added shading to those. Well, you can rip them from the second screenshot.
