TRYING to play Old School Runescape. Why trying? The game keeps on disconnecting left and right. It's been like this for months now and the admins are doing NOTHING about it. From what I heard, Runescape isn't the only game affected. I just really wish there was a solution for DDoS'ing on a mass scale like this. It just kills me to think some script kiddy can take down multi-million dollar MMO companies, and most of them can do little to nothing about it. I just wonder what caused this kind of stuff to become so commonplace?

In other news, finally got back into playing The Sims: Bustin' Out on the PS2. Can't believe it's been a year and a half, but my house is still intact just the way I left it. Also made my cats two adult female Sims and made a small house for them. Back in my main house, I got my Sim wife and my mother up to level 9 Cooking. Also grinded out to max Creativity for my own Sim. And yes, I DO have a house with myself, a made-up wife and my mother. Then my mother came upstairs and watched me. She had a LOT of critique on my house, namely the fact it has so much empty space. To be honest, there are a lot of things in The Sims that you need to do that would be really weird in real life. Not to mention my mother was complaining about all the random neighbors trying to get greeted.

Small story, but my mother almost banned me from playing The Sims as a kid because she walked in on me several times abusing and torturing them. But doesn't every Sims player do that to some degree?

You'll hate the green stars, eventually.

So far that's not the case. :P

Yeah, I finally started this week, instead of a week ago like I said I would. :heh:

But I've finished the first two worlds' green stars, along with the second Fluzzard Galaxy, Mario Squared Galaxy, and Boss Blitz Galaxy, so I wouldn't have to see them again. Funnily enough the Mario Squared Galaxy stars were really simple, but at that point I didn't know what to expect. But yeah, I actually enjoy hunting them, it's fun. The only thing I don't enjoy is the damn Prankster Comet notification every time I open a galaxy with Green Stars uncollected, but otherwise I have no issues with them.

I've recently been playing NetHack. It's the sequel to the very first roguelike, and it plays very similar to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, but with no Pokemon. It's pretty dang awesome.

I personally prefer Dota 2 and League of Legends, but HotS seems interesting too.

I'll be honest... None will ever be as great a feel to play as the Warcraft 3 custom map.

I'm playing through "Phoenix Wright - Dual Destinies". I'm really enjoying the game, but the translation/localization is shit. They didn't proofread anything, I'm only on Case 3, and I've already found more errors than I can count. It's so bad, I can see somebody hacking the game just as a spell-check patch. You can't claim that it's something like seeing the sentences out of context in the development tools, the errors are that common and blatant.

Other than that, I'm alternating between "Kid Icarus: Uprising" and "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate". Uprising isn't bad, it's just a type of game that I'm not generally good at. It's not really my type of game, but I can tell that it's preference and not game quality. If it was the kind of game that I was into, I can tell that I would enjoy it a lot more. (I know, that sentence doesn't make sense, but you know what I'm getting at.) The only part of it that keeps me playing is the writing, I like the character banter a lot.

I also started playing "Star Fox 64 3D", but not very frequently. It's a remake of my favorite game, but I've played the original to death and it's mainly a "see the pretty graphics" tour like when I played Ocarina 3D. Basically, I can see myself occasionally playing the individual levels by themselves from time to time, but not something I'll devote hours to. The new voice acting isn't as good as the original, even though it's the same voice actors, but that may be nostalgia on my end. Also, does anybody know if Score Attack can count towards medals? If it runs off the same rules as the original, you unlock the Landmaster and on-foot combat in multiplayer if you get medals in every mission, but it would be more convenient to simply load up a late-game level like Area 6 directly rather than a full game to make a single attempt.

Speaking of multiplayer, I might just be a bit rusty, but the AI opponents in multiplayer are freaking brutal! I got shot down in about a minute the first time I tried playing.

Embarrassing story. When I first started playing Majoras Mask back on the N64 I was young and got aggravated with the whole three day thing. After I got to the end of the third day I decided it was impossible to beat and quit out of anger.......

Now that I'm older and playing the 3DS version and know that you can reset the time I'm determined to beat it.

I'm still playing WoW, now level 33. This game is so addicting. I was going to pull my 3DS out but meh there's nothing to really play on it. And I don't see anymore games that's worth playing coming out as well.

I wonder if the 3DS is dying now? I mean jeez where is all the 3DS games at? lol... Though If I could get a hold of Bravery default that would give me a reason to play my 3DS... but I can't even find a copy of the game anywhere in stores.

With Ace Attorney, it's a trade-off really. The game has a MASSIVE amount of text, yet the localization team managed to get the translation done in under 3 months. That's really impressive when you think about it, especially given how many cultural references and whatnot had to be changed. A few typos are bound to slip in. Plus, at this point, it's basically tradition. I think fans of the series would be mad if typos didn't slip in. :P

242 stars in Galaxy 2. Boom. Done. 100%. And ya know what? I enjoyed every minute of it. Okay no I didn't, some stuff was either boring or bad (Battle Belt Galaxy one example for boring, Fluzzard only example for bad), but a huge chunk of it was quite fun. Even the green stars were alright. There's only three of which I've put on a special "shit list," and those would be the third one on Flipsville Galaxy, the third on Melty Monster Galaxy, and the second on Rolling Coaster Galaxy. Screw them, and screw whoever decided to put them there. Also, having to see the "Prankster Comet" warning every time you opened a galaxy, as well as being forced to watch the opening cutscene again, were annoying factors, but not enough to bring down the fun of green stars.

That aside, I had a hell of a good time with this game, and can't recall having this good a time with a Mario game since Mario 64. Sunshine was really fun, but Galaxy 2 tops Sunshine for me. Sunshine's the best in the series for controls and physics, and does have some excellent level design, but Galaxy 2 wins in the level design area. 64 is still my favorite 3D Mario game, because in that game it felt like nearly every piece fell perfectly into place and didn't feel padded out very much compared to the others, but Galaxy 2 comes close. So my ranking earlier still stands, which was: 64 > Galaxy 2 > Sunshine > Galaxy.

Oh. And Grandmaster Galaxy. Bit of a challenge, not as bad as I was expecting it to be, though still quite fun. Champion's Road will always be the best bonus level though.

Fantastic game. Now with my list shortened, I can finally give Oracle of Seasons some time again, and hopefully push on a little faster into my Zelda series playthrough...
