Currently re-playing Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I'm gonna prove that this is a fun Zelda game~

But Spirit Tracks will always be better. :P

You don't have to prove it, it already was a fun game. :P

Well, beat Oracle of Ages last night. I still really like the game but honestly my opinion of it dipped a little; the tile-walking puzzles where you change them from blue to red just got tedious after a while for one, which wouldn't have been as big an issue maybe if there was one less, and Jabu-Jabu itself... I dislike the dungeon because there were a lot of points I tended to forget about, and when I remembered them, I usually had to go change water levels again, which involved some tedious backtracking and it just wasn't fun. Maybe if the room with the water level buttons let you open permanent shortcuts...

But overall, the rest of the game is still damn good, good enough to warrant it being ranked above the NES and N64 Zelda games on my list. Now it's time for the Seasons linked game, and we'll see if that game will raise through the ranks any; I had it listed lower before due to its overall forgettable nature. That, and I found the seasons gimmick to be somewhat annoying at times. But we'll see.

I always found Seasons to be superior over Ages. I guess it's because I loved the Seasons gimmick and it had Subrosians. You can't go wrong with Subrosians man :P

But anyways, I've been playing Link's Awakening DX again on a Let's Play (I guess that counts?). Recently just beat Catfish's Maw and oh god that was kind of a confusing dungeon. But hey, I got the Hookshot, so there's always that.

You forgot the part where the extra time spent backtracking causes the already short dungeon music to be permanently burned into your brain.

I got Ages as my Gold Reward from Club Nintendo. I think I like it over seasons as it was the first game I played of the two, as well as I prefer the time mechanic and the Veran fights over the Seasons mechanics and Onyx Fight... though once I get more money loaded to my account I'll definitely be getting seasons (hehe, I just need to get AOL and I'll pretty much have all of the Zelda games available on the 3Ds on my system)

I've also been continuing on in Rune Factory 4. It's been quite good, I've been trying to get as many resources and leveling up all my crafts as much as possible, but I think it's about time to progress the story a bit more. I should, now I'm thinking of it, be working on my alternative weapons proficiencies. I've been mainly focusing on the Short Sword and Dual Blades (I go for many speedy strikes over just a few powerful slow ones) and I really need my mining skills up so I can keep getting better ore.

So aside from playing a whole bunch of Final Fantasy XIV (currently level 41! :D) I got Etrian Mystery Dungeon. Never played a Mystery Dungeon game before, but I'm enjoying it so far. I've only done 2 of the dungeons so far, and am going through the second one a few more times to complete some quests. Unlike my typical Etrian Odyssey runs, I'm actually trying out all the classes since it seems much easier to keep them up to speed.

I'm playing some Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on my New 3DS. So far, I'm very impressed with how well this game runs. The frame rate never dipped for me even with 3D turned on. Also, the loading times on this version have dramatically improved over the Wii version. If you can handle the 240p resolution on this version as opposed to the 480p resolution on the Wii version, then this is a worthy pickup. My favorite JRPG from last gen on the go? Epic win! :D

I'm working on Bloodborne, Been also working on Toukiden Kiwami on PS4, Toukiden is like Monster Hunter for people who don't have time for Monster hunter. I've been looking for something else to play... I need to get my old 32' JVC TV back in my room where I can Shadow Hearts again.

If it wasn't so expensive, I would have gotten Toukiden too. I really wanted to try a game like that.

If you ever get the chance to snag up any version of it get it. Its pretty good. Me and my friend has been playing in Co-Op a lot. Also the story isn't half bad so far.

Edit, I Mean to also say I own the digital version for one reason my gamestop didn't get the game in store.

I just tried Kinetic Void again. I'm a huge, huge fan of Freelancer, but Kinetic Void just didn't feel at all like what I was used to with Freelancer. It's also really, really unfinished, and is taking far too long to do so. I think I'll wait until Limit Theory is out.

I started Ultima IV, this game blows my mind. It's so wonderfully made with minimal resources. But I don't know if I'm good enough to become the Avatar.... I'm still experimenting, I don't have experience with western RPGs.

Glad to see that the Ultima series is getting some much-needed love.

I've played and finished every Ultima game except 2, 4, 5, Akalabeth, and The Savage Empire. I highly recommend Ultima 7 next. It has such an outstandingly cool engine powering it. Both Underworld games are excellent as well.

Finally back to grinding my Old School Runescape Ironman again. This time, grinding up a few skills that desperately require my attention:

Herblore: Short-term goal is 38 so I can make Prayer Potions, which are going to be mandatory for quests and higher level Slayer tasks because tanking is not efficient, especially when your assignment is against like Black Demons. Not only that, but I would really like to get some better potions to make training easier. Don't get me wrong; normal Attack/Strength Potions are fine for now, but I'll want to go the extra mile for their Super counterparts.

Slayer: Mandatory for any Ironman, because hello; it's the only way to get metal boots, Abyssal Whip, Dark Bow, Trident of the Seas, Black Masks and more. Currently am level 33 and can't wait until my combat level is higher so I can destroy enemies that drop items that high alch for big bucks, not to mention clues. Kind of wish I was level 70 so I could use the Slayer Master in Zanaris, because using the 2nd worst master is kind of bleh. I would use the one just above him, Vannaka, but I really do NOT want to have to deal with the risk of hitting a Green Dragon task. So, the one in Canifis it is until level 70 combat.

Attack/Strength/Defence: Getting these up as I grind out Slayer. I currently am 50/46/50 respectively. The reason Strength is lowest is because I wanted to wait until a level my max hit was the same no matter which stance I use. At 46 Strength, I hit up to 11s with my Rune Scimitar regardless of stance, so I used that to get to 50 Attack/Defence. Once my max hit is 12 regardless of stance, I'll just go all out to level 60 Attack, get a Dragon Scimitar, then get my Strength up until I hit 16s no matter what style I use, then 55 Defence for the Helm of Neizitnot. After getting 70 Strength, I'll probably do the Warrior's Guild until 60 Defence and/or Dragon Defender, whichever comes first.

Kind of sucks my combat level is a bit bloated by excess Hitpoints levels from training Ranged up to 64, but meh.

Prayer: The unbearably slow skill that is mandatory to get to at least level 43 for the protection prayers. I'm closing in on level 39, but I think I need to start collecting Babydragon or Dragon Bones and using Ectofuntus because burying them is extremely slooooooooooooow XP. Once I hit the magic number of 43, I'll start doing a lot more quests, especially Monkey Madness so I have a nice shiny Dragon Scimitar the moment I hit 60 Attack. Yeah, I know I could just try to tank, but I prefer playing it safe.

I randomly decided to play Megaman 9 and 10 back to back for the hell of it tonight. It was pretty awesome.
