Hm. Needs moar Moon, less Mountain. icon_blah.gif

I wonder if the distance covered by the bridge could be increased. I almost feel like the bridge's existence isn't quite justified yet.

The cakebridge is a lie! The way those mountains are ... layered, it looks like the lower section is elevated higher than the upper section. o.O' iDunno, could be me though. ... Nonetheless, a great screen.

I am surprised how well the dark palette works with the sprite CSets in both of your screens. Well done!
And Keiichi something about your screen is just really Zelda-y. That Link on a treestump makes me wanting him to use some magical artifact like an istrument or wand to some effect.

I like what you did with the mountain tiles, they look a lot better with that little added depth!

My only complaint is the mountain going under the over mountain near the bridge, except for that, wonderful screen.

Yeah, there's no tiles to help fix that. I might edit some though, ti bothers me as well.
How does the bridge have a transition problem?

Thanks Shane! I was hoping the look of this screen would get people excited. And, although I don't really want to reveal ANYTHING about this project, it does lead to a small village. But this overworld doesn't really have any significance to the actual game. It's actually quite an odd area... But that's enough explaining for now icon_wink.gif
