New bottle

Side note, almost forgot: The infinite Deku Stick glitch doesn't work on Great Fairy Sword, so no invisible ultra sword for us.

Wait... what? Is that something from the old game or some new glitch as well?

Also, another thing I noticed is that Deku Stick torches last longer? I remember struggling to get that Chandelier running on the old version because my Deku stick keeps burning out. Deku Stick torches don't burn out in this version?

I thought they burned out somewhat quickly in the original, but I actually got the Chandelier running on the N64 version without the bunny hood in one try the other day (I normally use the bunny hood but it was still only the 2nd day in the first 3-day cycle after having the Deku curse removed) and without losing the stick, so I guess not..?  Also yes, I'm still playing the N64 version instead, because why not. :P

it was in the old game... if you had the Great Fairy sword drawn and then tried to mail it, it'd go invisible.
Ahh, it doesn't work...
Also, completely destroyed the Majora's battle with the Great Fairy's Sword... didn't even need the Fierce Deity mask, even though I got it!
Welp, time to now have fun facing bosses all suped up on the bad-ass maskery of Fierce Deity!

Ah. Well, I tried that, and no, the sword does not go invisible.

Anyway, since I now have all masks and items, I decided to go get the Fierce Deity's Mask early, and also the heart pieces on the moon. Twenty left, which I'll go after... at some point. Probably tomorrow. Mostly I figured, hey, had Chateau Romani, don't let it go to waste and kick Majora's ass. I'll just turn my Majora slaying into a grand boss tour later, though then again I'm not sure if it'll work on Gyorg this time... Well, we'll see.

Boy TS's stream of Majora's Mask made me realize the amount of things that I can clear in one 3-day cycle.

Why can't people understand this? Most people say they don't like it is because, "It's pretty much the original only better graphics, and if it took 3 years, Nintendo is lazy!" (I literally read that this past weekend) And yet they don't take the time to think other than themselves and realize Nintendo had more than just this game to work on. There was, like Aonuma said, A Link Between Worlds, Wind Waker HD, and even partially Zelda U! Makes me mad that people say it's a waste just because it took three years.

Er I mean like what?

Let's see...

In one three day cycle,

Day One:

* Defeated the Snowhead Temple boss

* Upgraded Kokiri Sword to Razor Sword

* Used Powdered Keg to open Goron Race track

* Beat the Goron Races to earn gold dust

* Completed Powdered keg quest to earn another Powdered Keg

* Obtained Zora Mask

* Cleared path to Romani's Ranch

* Obtained Epona

* Completed Garo's Mask side quest

* Completed Aliens side quest.

2nd Day

* Upgraded Razor Sword to Gilded Sword

* Obtained Piece of Heart on Spring Snowhead

* Completed Cucco March side quest

* Completed Cremia's side quest

* Completed Milk Bar side quest

* Completed Swamp Spider House side quest

Final Day

* Obtained Gilded Sword

* Completed Dog Race side quest

I'm sure someone can do better at clearing so many sidequests in one 3 day cycle.

Wait, did I do that all in one cycle? Or was that just stuff you pieced together based on my playthrough? Cuz if I did, wow, I used to be better at the game. :tard:

This time I took things more easily, though I did do the sword upgrade/Romani Ranch quests in the same cycle again.

That was from my playthrough. I'm pretty sure you did a bit more than this if I recall. :lol:

I honestly lost interest in this remake after they made it for babies. I'll probably pick it up someday, but right now, I have no real urge to play it.

I actually had planned on rewatching the stream for the heck of it, though thinking back, I probably used some save states, so if I did do more, it's not really a fair comparison. :P
