I meant to say "too boxy" (as in square design), but my autocorrect got the better of it.

Oh. Yeah, my maps do look a bit squared... I was trying to go for something more curved, probably in my later quests I can start working on curved mountains.

Also, crazyal02: I like that little dark island in the top-left. Adds a very gloomy atmosphere to it.

The map layout should be quite obvious if you've played Pac-Man...

I am building a quest with the classic tileset.  In this particular dungeon the areas with trees are a big maze with a lot of scrolling warps and a few maze paths.  This would account for the screens which would appear not to line up.

Looks pretty cool, although I'm not sure about the colour used. Is this going to be like a Snow-themed forest dungeon? Or just a regular forest dungeon?

Wow! That looks sort of like a typical classic dungeon, and yet completely different. Feels much more open than a normal one.

Looks quite cool, actually feels like it's from the original Legend of Zelda.

Not 100% complete but majority of the design is done. Now to implement the caves underneath some graves and some other sprites.

Why are there graves in the gardens? Kinda seems like a weird place to bury people. The gravestones and those upside down U shape things just look odd given the setting. The garden and castle entrances could be a bit more 'castle' like also. Apart from that, really good stuff!

I was playing Twilight Princess and when I saw a graveyard in Hyrule Castle I thought "oh wow, I need to do something like this." and it really helps the "Requiem" part of my quest title too. Otherwise, these people who are buried here would be the royal family (as opposed to standard Hylians and Sheikah buried at the Kakariko Graveyard.) and the Hero of Time (along with Zelda on the alter).

Hm, I'm not good with castle-settings... I tried using ST and tMC as references... any ideas?

I'm considering changing the graveyard fences though. Thank you and you too, NJF. :)

I think you are good with the castle settings. I like how you've used ST and TMC as references, it really comes through in the design. I think you need to sprite a new entrance for the Castle section though, the tiles you've used just remind me more of Ganon's Castle or evil temple or something.

What James said. Plus, I'm not sure about the gargoyles.

Oracle of Ages is flashing through my mind right now.

I really like the design though, very well detailed!
