Recently bought Link's Awakening DX, forgot how great it was; I'm up to level four right now. At the same time I'm also playing Other M... unfortunately. The game established itself as bad from near the very beginning and clearly hasn't tried to fix that yet. Terrible control scheme, repetitive combat, bland design... If it weren't for me wanting to figure out the story on my own I'd've seriously stopped playing it by now.

Well, as of late, I've been playing Mighty Switch Force on my 3DS, and have stars on 12 or 13 of the existing 16 incidients, which is quite difficult, because you need to get under the PAR time. The other game I am playing is Pushmo, and glad I got it, as it's pretty darn neat. icon_biggrin.gif Kind of an addicting little game.

I've been playing some indie game or whatever on the 360 called Fortress Craft, I think it's called. I can't play Minecraft so this is the best I got. I've also been playing Pushmos along with Metroid II and Super Mario Land 2. Probably going to load up Mario Kart 7 soon though.

That's the exact opposite of the reason I played the game. I thought the story was pretty bad (it was essentially a repeat of Fusion) and horribly paced. I enjoyed the combat though, and thought it controlled fairly well.

Anyways, I'm making my way through Skyward Sword. And Sonic Generations. And Skyrim. And Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. And Mario Kart 7. And like twelve games from the most recent Humble Bundle. I'm playing too much. icon_frown.gif

I stand corrected, twice. Loading up Modern Warfare 2... not Mario Kart 7. And it's Castle Miner, not Fortress Craft

Well, I just finished Lunar: Silver Star Harmony for the first time, and I've moved on to Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.

It's a good, standard Layton game, but it has a time travel element, and I'm always a sucker for that, so I'm enjoying it thoroughly. icon_smile.gif Looks like it has even more puzzles than the last two games, which is great, since I am supposed to do puzzles as part of my therapy, and I'm just not motivated to do all those puzzles on paper or on the web...

The story's okay, the script and Samus' acting are terrible. And, well, so is Samus' characterization. It wasn't that they humanized her, it's that they humanized her a little too much. As for combat, it's too automatic, too repetitive, and switching to first-person for arbitrary objectives is horrible. I want to be able to use my missiles without having to lock onto something in first-person mode, dammit. icon_neutral.gif

The game's beat. The real final boss and everything. I'm a completionist, so I might return to pick up 100% powerups. Other than that, I don't see myself replaying this game ever again. Not even for the story, which ends up not capitalizing on the elements that drove you early on; in fact they drop an entire plot point and it's like they hope you don't notice it. I can honestly call this game one of the worst games I've ever played, even worse than Sonic Colors and '06.

This basically sums it up (minor spoilers if you care about those): http://www.escapistm...Metroid-Other-M

Welp, next on the list is picking up in Prime 3 where I left off: Norion. Hopefully it becomes a much greater game in comparison to Other M, because my first impressions were "This control scheme is not very smooth and it doesn't have the same open and exploratory feel of the first two Primes." Not to say it wasn't good, since it was so far. I'm just hoping it become that much more enjoyable, following such a s***ty game...

Also Link's Awakening is still an amazing game.

I've recently started playing three games, "Megaman 9", Megaman 10, and Final fantasy 4 the after years, all on wiiware. So far, megaman 9 is pretty freaking hard xD, but it is fun. Megaman 10 is great too
but a little too easy. And Final fantasy 4 the after years, is great so far. thats what I'm playing right now. since my mother gave up on Skyward sword, she hates the game now :\, but with her quiting it I can have the wii back for awhile.

I have a lot of games going on right now since I recently got a PS3. I started Heavy Rain and Dragon Age, and I'm also playing All 4 One in the Ratchet and Clank Series. Also playing Dead Island, which is interesting... It's like Grand Theft Auto, but with zombies.

Recently finished Tales of Vesperia (finally!) and the other 3 Ratchet and Clank Future games for PS3.

I'm still in the midst of the Last Specter in the Layton series... There's just so much to do!

Just got "Mystic Ark" with Aeon genesis's translation working on Snes9x GX (Wii) had to remove the header, and deinterleave It.
But with that done I can now play it on my wii icon_awesome.gif, Its a pretty good game, I've always enjoyed it, but Now I can enjoy it on my TV, instead of my computer.

Beat Link's Awakening DX recently, fantastic game, now my second-favorite Zelda game. Just started Assassin's Creed II, and it's fairly interesting so far. Hopefully the combat streamlines itself soon though.

I recently beat Skyward Sword. That is one long Zelda game icon_biggrin.gif.

I'm doing a marathon of JRPGs for 2012 as this is one of the best years for the JRPG genre.

Here's what I'm planning to play:

January: Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
February: Final Fantasy XIII-2 (360), Tales of the Abyss (3DS)
March: Tales of Graces f (PS3)
April: Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)
May: ?
June: ?

I'm also hooked to the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection on PS3. I love the soundtrack! And also, I'm playing Vanquish for the 360. If you like the 3rd Person Shooting in Gears of War and strong presentation value in Bayonetta, you are going to love this game.

And last but not least, I got a 3DS today so I'm doing a playthrough of Ocarina of Time 3D. It looks great so far. icon_smile.gif
