Can anyone tell me how or where you get the second sword upgrade...I am still playing with a blue-tinted sword and relevant pics in the thread show a red-tinted sword....what am I missing?? Thanks!!!

You need the hammer, which is the Forest Temple's dungeon item. Return to the Shattered Temple once you have it.

In skull forest, there is a water warp that leads to the graveyards. The sand should no longer hurt you.

How do I get this key?? Do I fall down from above....trouble is that nothing lines up (from floor to dropping down another floor you don't fall in the same place on that next floor's area) so dropping is just hit or miss until you find the right place to drop down??) Is unlocking that gold lock with this gold key going to get me closer to the key to the sky temple? That's also having me scratch my head as I'm at a standstill in the game trying to find the "town" of thieves to whom the "mayor" gave the sky temple key.

Get to the closed south door :

Which is this room:

But no matter where I fall, the result is the same:

I fall into the top and not the bottom enclosed space.

Thieves town is Dark World's version of Karkariko Village.

Remember...I am "the oldest nube on the block", so keep that in mind as I ask....is this considered to be Karkiriko Village?

Thats where you need to be. Go into the demon statue and use the key the old man gave you.

You didn't. Don't forget to kill all the enemies on the screen before you can push blocks. Don't forget that some blocks can only be pushed a certain direction.

Hi, I really like this quest, but I am stuck in Level 2 because I am unable to carry bombs. I am using Version 2.5 Beta build 18. I am tried to play in Build 550, but I get an error when it tries to load the quest, I tried Build 655 I get the save file to load, but it tells me that it is not a compatible save file or something like that, I tried a couple builds that I saw other players try and the save file wouldn't load. I am using Windows 7. Is there an issue with Windows 7 and these builds and this quest?

You get bombs in that level. There is a shop near the end of the fire part.

Did I tell you if you save in Level 1, you get stuck and have to start the entire game over?

You shouldn't, as far as I know. I seen people die there alot. You appear stuck, but I am not certain you do.

I finished this quest a little bit ago. My thoughts:

In the very early stages, I was unsure about it. The first dungeon felt lazy, and having to F6-Continue out of the jail cells was a big part of that (I was unaware that there was a real way out despite my best efforts) and then again when I saw Fire Mountain's palletes, especially on the flames.I stuck with it, though, because it held promise of grand adventure. It started getting a bit better by the sacred forest meadow dungeon, and after Hyrule Castle revisit I was starting to like it. Things really started picking up around the dark graveyard, and after level 4 I was convinced that Souls of Wisdom was pretty damn rad.

So many hours of questing and searching later, I'm at the Temple of Sages. Aw man, this is it. Between level 8's themes and this, it felt very final, very climactic. After a brutal fight in the realm of chaos, I found myself wondering how this was still going.

And then again after the 3 hour work through Ganon's castle, with a nice chunk of that being spent figuring out how to beat him. Never content to grab Navi and just quit, I needed to finish it. I went looking for heart pieces, maxed out my life, found Din's fire, completed 4 classic dungeons before I got bored of them, and found the lost seas.

My GOD the lost seas.

They've got to be the single dumbest thing I've seen. It's got all the annoyances of a normal maze but with the added headache of not being able to see the walls. I realize the secret dungeon should be hard to find, but this is ridiculous. But I have a lot of patience. I went through the rest of the game with minimal help, after all.

thirty minutes pass.

an hour passes.

An hour and a half passes.

progress = 0

Getting to the point, I'm about ready to give up on the legendary secret temple because of this stupid "maze" that was seemingly designed to kill the player's motivation of facing their final challenge. Anyone have a map of it?
