Get to the closed south door :

Which is this room:

But no matter where I fall, the result is the same:

I fall into the top and not the bottom enclosed space.

In the very early stages, I was unsure about it. The first dungeon felt lazy, and having to F6-Continue out of the jail cells was a big part of that (I was unaware that there was a real way out despite my best efforts) and then again when I saw Fire Mountain's palletes, especially on the flames.I stuck with it, though, because it held promise of grand adventure. It started getting a bit better by the sacred forest meadow dungeon, and after Hyrule Castle revisit I was starting to like it. Things really started picking up around the dark graveyard, and after level 4 I was convinced that Souls of Wisdom was pretty damn rad.
So many hours of questing and searching later, I'm at the Temple of Sages. Aw man, this is it. Between level 8's themes and this, it felt very final, very climactic. After a brutal fight in the realm of chaos, I found myself wondering how this was still going.
And then again after the 3 hour work through Ganon's castle, with a nice chunk of that being spent figuring out how to beat him. Never content to grab Navi and just quit, I needed to finish it. I went looking for heart pieces, maxed out my life, found Din's fire, completed 4 classic dungeons before I got bored of them, and found the lost seas.
My GOD the lost seas.
They've got to be the single dumbest thing I've seen. It's got all the annoyances of a normal maze but with the added headache of not being able to see the walls. I realize the secret dungeon should be hard to find, but this is ridiculous. But I have a lot of patience. I went through the rest of the game with minimal help, after all.
thirty minutes pass.
an hour passes.
An hour and a half passes.
progress = 0
Getting to the point, I'm about ready to give up on the legendary secret temple because of this stupid "maze" that was seemingly designed to kill the player's motivation of facing their final challenge. Anyone have a map of it?
