Made a new enemy today.
Made some shortcuts. Meaning: after you complete an area, instead of taking the long way back, you can use the new unlocked shortcut to navigate some areas.
Made a proper tutorial level, with an opening cut scene. (You get to see Mike watch his victims on his big screen)
Am about 85% done with "Bubble Basement"
Made some new traps hidden in plain sight.

I've been getting a little bored with Tale of Greifland, so I started on a new quest. I entered a screenshot from it into the next Screenshot of the Week, just to get some feedback on the style I've been using. I'm not going to announce much about it yet, since I'm not even sure if I'll finish it at the moment.

Damn! That looks really awesome! Great to see that old tileset getting revived again.
Meanwhile, I've been busy with Level 4 of my quest. Getting close to finishing it now.
Edit: Level 4 is almost complete! All I got left is the boss room and the Chaos Emerald room and then the level is done.

Well, still learning Zquest myself and looking to just make an original styled zelda quest. Happily though, after about a week of learning this program, I believe I have finished up my first level today. No custom graphics or music, just all old school. I know probably not many are into the old zelda look anymore, but all I wanted to do originally was make some new dungeons for the game and a new overworld with some challenge and twist, at least to get me started in learning the ropes of Zquest.
18 rooms for dungeon 1, well technically 20 because 2 are hidden, and a collection of shots I took while testing the level while trying not to get murdered.

Hope it's not too boring looking but it was actually kinda fun to play, for me anyway.

It's great to see some old school Z1 style quests here and there. I don't think those screens look boring at all, it works pretty well with what you're going for. It also reminds me of the Randomiser quests in a way ![]()
