I also just "came out" to my family on Facebook a couple days ago. Nobody said anything, so I'm convinced that non-bronies simply don't care.

Personally, I'm convinced that "coming out" as a fan of a TV show is really a silly and rather stupid concept.

That was easily the best episode in the series, by far, which is fortunate because my mom insisted on watching it with me. She thoroughly enjoyed it, and actually laughed out loud when Cadence threw the bouquet to the possessed bridesmaids.

I'm actually quite glad they didn't rely on the Elements of Harmony for this one, and I loved how deep the plot was as opposed to previous villains. Queen Changeling struck me as a sort of Nightmare Moon 2.0.

All in all, a pretty f***ing great episode and the best one yet. Chills all the way.

EDIT: Also loved the Vinyl Scratch slight return at the end.

The only tangible disappointment was that they didn't show Spike's failed attempt(s) to throw a bachelor party. Just one more reason why it would be awesome if they had 3-minute side story webisodes to go with each episode.

Every funny moment was worth it. There was plenty of singing, which I generally don't like, but the changeling battle scene was plenty funny for me. Great episode.

I swear I've seen this plot before.

Cadence's impostor has a different horn aura. That was a dead giveaway.

Shining Armor has Vinyl Scratch's color scheme. Vinyl Scratch must be their cousin or something.

I liked Discord better than the Changeling Queen... But she was better than average.

Luna still needs more love. I don't blame her for missing the wedding. The reception is always better.

I'm a little bit late to the punch here, since I haven't been watching MLP with any sort of regularity or fervor (been too distracted by Stargate DVDs)... but what's the current deal with Derpy Hooves? I read this article and found out what the deal was in February, but I don't know how much screen time Derpy/Ditzy has gotten since then, if any.

Personally, I'm fine with the official name being changed to Ditzy Doo (it's not like "Derpy" won't prevail as a nickname), and I don't see any reason to get upset about a change of voice actor (since not everyone liked Derpy's voice acting, and she had only just barely had a speaking role at that point)... but I am sad about the prospect of her eyes being "fixed." I love the silliness of the wall-eyes, and seeing as I have double vision (though admittedly mine isn't caused by wall-eyes), I got a kick out of the portrayal.

If I had gone to Sakura Con earlier this month (I wasn't able to), I was going to cosplay as a male, humanized version of Derpy Hooves, as a part of a cosplay group that a female friend of mine was trying to get together. I have no issues with being lovable and brain-dead.

I've become less hardcore of a brony... and now get mildly annoyed when the show remembers it's for little girls. I still like the show, but I'm a hundred times more excited about the Legend of Korra.

Don't get me wrong; I love most of the songs, it's just I wasn't in the mood for two in the same episode... Also, the songs usually sound better out of context, with the exception of the Flim Flam Brothers song.

Vinyl Scratch, please allow the mods to decide if something shouldn't be posted in this thread/is off topic. While we have fairly relaxed rules on rent-a-modding in Off the Beaten Path, it was just a simple passing mention not trying to shift the entire thread's discussion so it wasn't really necessary to mention it.
