That's kind of the point of the cave, though...
And I don't know how to edit palettes. icon_shrug.gif

Little preview of my in progress Fire Dragon Dungeon. (That sun panel in the entrance screen is a save point. My quest will require save points. The little white spot on it is the sparkle tile, it hasn't started to animate yet in that shot) (The Brown Lynel has been edited to shoot fire) (Second screen from the entrance has an enemy that didn't spawn yet due to me clicking the snapshot as soon as I entered) (The fireballs around the dragon statue move around it, they are scripted)

Edit: The 3rd screen up has cycling platforms over the lava on the top left side of the screen, that is how you cross that lava gap. they spawn and disappear and repeat one after another.
Dungeon uses cycling burning palette. So some screen colors may look different. The spikes in the first screen should look like the ones in the 3rd, I forgot to fix that)

Nice. it actually has a pretty unique feel to it, or at least it looks very well crafted.

Reminds me of something CastChaos/Twilight_Knight would make.

And editing non-custom palettes is easy as tying your shoes. It's basically copy and paste. icon_shrug.gif

Hrm... even so though, it just looks like a nightmare to play; I can't tell what's what quickly, which is always bad. I remember CC made the same argument for using tile errors once: "Well that's the point, it ties in with the story". You can only take that argument so far; if it interferes with gameplay (and it looks like it does in that screenshot), don't do it.

Maybe instead of overworld tiles maybe try MC cave objects? Other then that it's good, I like the subscreen so far.

Alright, I'll clean it up a bit. No problem! I need to use the MC tiles anyway. The crystal-things, and the rocks, I mean. icon_razz.gif

Easy for you to say. When I try to edit palettes, they come out all discolored and such...

That's what I thought when I first saw it. Jared, the screen looks nice, but I agree with all the other feedback. Cleaning the screen up is a very good idea, because it looks a little cluttered. icon_smile.gif

Looks good, however the top right of the screen doesn't look right. It looks as if you could walk down onto the mountain from the screen above. Maybe you should remove the ladder and move that cave door one tile to the right.

Looks good Jared, as I said before, the LttP flowers don't mix well with the MC grass IMO. Also despise how that mini tree doesn't have a "leafy" texture compared to the big tree. icon_frown.gif

As I said before, it looks good just needs a few things that could make it look more polished. icon_smile.gif
