it hit me like a ton of bricks. I wanted to reach out and hug my monitor. That sort of thing escapes from the realm of "cute" and into something else entirely.


Also, today, the only real life brony friend I have "woke up" out of the bronydom. Took down her posters, and admitted to herself that she just doesn't need this in her life. It's all good though, really.

I will never actually buy anything related to .. well, .. anything, really, so I'm quite free to like what I like. :-3 That's all. ^^.

I went on a trip with my church this weekend and we ate at McDonald's and when I saw that no one was around when I was ordering my food I swallowed my pride and asked for a Pony toy for "someone I know" but of course the cashier couldn't speak English very well so she didn't acknowledged it...

ANOTHER CUTIE-MARK EPISODE! Yep. That it be. They try and they try, but they just never seem to get their cutie-marks. At least it's an excuse to do interesting things. Didn't know they had a newspaper. But stuff like that has the luxury of being sprung on us on a whim.

Rainbow Dash can sure carry a heck-ton of newspapers!

I gotta say, I loved the dialogue reversal with Applejack and Big Macintosh. He always needed more lines.

Pinkie pulling the paper out of that bathtub was pretty funny.
I'm surprised Pinkie didn't instantly turn into Pinkamena when her "secret" was exposed....
I also just realized some fridge brilliance with the lampshade on her head while standing in the punch. Pinkie is apparently an alcoholic now, joining the ranks with Berry Punch. That was probably the most adult humor the show has ever seen.

Gabby Gums is a rather clever pen name.

Good Moral. Shows human nature, since only Twilight saw any harm in the gossip before she was exposed.

I like how the letters to Celestia have been tapering off. It seems less like they're drilling the moral in.

Luna doesn't get nearly enough attention, so to make fun of this, I drew pictures of Luna "dressed" as Luigi and Celestia "dressed" as Mario (Since, y'know, Luigi doesn't get much attention either). It'll be up in a few days, after I scan it, color it, and compile the two pictures into one.

How amazing was today's episode? So amazing. That's how amazing. I loved all the continuity. Standard rule: If you want me to love something more, put in some additional continuity!

This is about the extent of my thoughts on the episode, for the moment: It was good and I liked it!

I didn't get to see the new episode this morning. This is because I had a convention to attend (very off-topic, there I saw a full-size professionally-made Dalek prop based on those from the late 60s. That was f***ing awesome.). However, around 8:00, I met up with some people from my school, while still at the convention, mind you, and we went to an MLP panel. There, we all saw the new episode. If it weren't for the Dalek, this would have been the coolest thing about the convention.

When the titles started rolling, everyone in the room started singing the theme tune. And I got a Rainbow Dash sticker, which I stuck onto my new TARDIS. This was a good day.

I think the most amusing thing about the episode itself, though, was probably Applejack and Big Mac's line reversal. I'm glad to see him get some decent lines. *Glares at the Hearts and Hooves Day episode*
