I´m doing level 6 and look for the cross. Should I have the cross when entering the waterfall ? - The wall masters take me out every time, just can´t kill or avoid them / Lukaz

For those wall master hug the inside and use your hookshot to deal with them. It is a evade/avoid getting capture.

 

They cannot grab you while you are using your hookshot.

I am in level 5 and have the boss key but need a final key to get to the boss. I don't remember seeing a chest anywhere that I missed. Any clues?

There is a chest in the north east area you could not get with the water level at its highest because of those hammer pegs.

Where is the switch for this block?

you need to open the dive spot in the tunnel part.

once you do there is a switch that opens that.

I have no idea what that means. I'm gonna give up playing this quest, it's just too frustrating.

You have to lower the water to lowest stage (Which there are 3 water levels) and go in the room in the top middle area and that will open the way to the tunnels.

Make sure you have all of your hearts and equipment, this is a rather tough dungeon.

Ha. That's an understatement.   Okay, I'm in level 9 and I've got the red suit, super oil lamp, and everything else in the world. I've been to all floors, opened a number of warp shortcuts, and I've arrived at the boss door without a boss key. There are some rooms in the northeast of each floor that I cannot seem to get to. Might one of these rooms hold the boss key? Don't have the map or compass, for that matter. What am I missing?

The way to the boss key is on the top floor, as is the way to those missing rooms.

There is no map or compass for lvl 9. Part of the challenge. Not that they are particularly needed.

Is the top floor the floor with the boss door? (There's no floor indicator). Or is it the third floor? Next to the boss door I hammered two spots near the potion/bomb/arrow vendors. Nothing happened that I could see. Not seeing any indicator with the lens. Can you get me started in the right direction?
