Same here. Digging for hearts during that fight is almost impossible without getting hit. I still have to defeat her, but I'll go for a few missing souls first. Good luck!

The exact strategy for beating the final boss was given earlier in the thread.
In a nutshell, arrows (and the quiver upgrade) are your friends here.

I did it!
That final boss was fun, once I stopped having my usual bad luck...
116 deaths, 81 percent.
So... I missed one heart, in addition to the sword game. I got one in the World's Edge Mountains, so where is the remaining one??

There are two heart containers in Level 8.
Congrats Flitchard!

Where is level 5? I listened to the tablet and burned a bush above the next screen but no level 5. What am I missing?

@Sctmorgan
Have you found BOTH pieces of the tablet? Where do you think those two staircases in the room with the top half come up??

I found one half of the tablet that says...the exact same location. The other tablet I'm not able to access but I did let down the orange and blue blocks in that room. I can't access the middle of that room.

That's surprising, it is actually the easiest secret to find (you're supposed to find that one first, and work out the rest after entering the cave from there). It's a burnable bush that is quite clearly marked.

Well it's not that easy for me. I burned that bush above and beat the monster don't remember what I got. Oh well on to another quest to play.

... It's a bush surrounded by flowers on every side, on the same screen as the other two secrets.

Found the secret enemy. Laughed a bit, though getting the soul is gonna be a PAIN, huh?

Hmmm, where can I find that Moldorm cave again...?
Other than that..
. Red Leever, and Red Lynel are kinda hard to find... I got most of the souls now, though! ![]()

what's the secret to beating the level4 boss?
i'm getting pretty frustrated with the difficulty of the bosses and minibosses in this game. the levels are fun to play and i'm getting through mostly death free, but the bosses are another story. each boss i'm dying at least 10 times even with a potion.
i put this thing down for awhile, came back because of all the positive feedback it gets, but am getting close to giving up on it.

The bosses and minibosses require you to figure out the proper strategies to beat them. Once you have the right strategy, none of them are all that challenging apart from the final boss.
For the level 4 boss:
1) Have the white sword
2) Have the blue tunic
(Both are found in caves the cartographer showed you, and can be obtained at this point. You should always visit him between dungeons.)
3) Attack with the sword. When he's flying around the room, this is your cue to follow him and madly slash at him.
