Ok, so can you sum up anything I may need to know before I start testing?

Well, here's the bugs that I've found so far.

When you cut the flower that was originally located there, it results in this black tile appearing.

As you can see, when you talk to the NPC, the bombable tile becomes partially covered.

The stairway here isn't passable unless the bombable rock above is destroyed.

Kinda odd that there's soldier darknuts here when the other variant is in every other section of the dungeon, but that could be intentional.

The star closest to link here isn't passable, but that's partially okay seeing as I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a peg like the rest of them. It becomes a depressed peg if you step on the star switch.

In the NW entrance to the crypt here, the enemies that you find along the path are visible without the cross.

And finally, there's weird impassable purple tiles at the potion shop in/on Enigma Castle.
And upon playing a bit further...

Use a super bomb in the d? Guessing it's an incomplete string. (Located in the Devouring Forest)
P.S. I'm at Blester now, and have to say, this is the farthest I've ever progressed in this quest. Never found Mirage before. Really like the quest design, and also THANK GOD for that like-like proof shield. One more notes for the crypt though. There was a point on the lowest level of it that I got two keys(from a path leading south near the boss door that closes behind you and has a teleporter. Not the one with three entrances, but a single one.) from one key location.

Just a little question, is this a real finished quest or just a huge non-hidden beta testing thread for a quest? If this quest is finished, I'd like to have the latest link to the questfile. I'd like to try out the quest ![]()

Do please enjoy. Remember, it's not my quest. It's C-Dawg's. I'm just polishing it up for when he has the time to return.

Alright, I think I screwed up myself. Found 4 bombs and tried bombing various walls in the dungeon but couldn't find a bomb hole. Now I'm out of bombs. I think I have to restart the game? I am in the deku tree.
Edit: Okay after a while I escaped the dream found some forest and kokiri village. Have to mention some things:
- The keeses in the deku tree don't have black outlines.
- You can walk during pickup strings and signpost messages. I have no idea why you would not check the messages freeze all action rule. It's feels more polished then. ![]()
- Found a heart piece here but it didn't play a pickup string. When a quest uses pickup strings, I think it's better if every item uses it. Considering some other heart pieces I picked up did play a string.
- Also, the deku tree felt like a very hard dungeon to navigate through. I don't feel like I have visited all rooms and the two state switch and multiple floors didn't help either.
I really like playing good old school quests but I think it will get very hard for me. I already have no idea where to go, after I got some green potion from an owl. I found a cave with a dead end somewhere. There was water that looked like the shallow water from alttp but wasn't walkable.

Your goal for now is to head into the rest of Hyrule mainly, but you'll need the gauntlet first to do so. There's a hidden path in the SW part of the village that'll get you on your way(I believe the Owl mentions this too). PM me if you want a bit more help.

New battery came in the mail a couple days ago...and it seems like it's working fine. Looks like I'm in the clear again.
So, I guess you can expect reports again starting tomorrow. Time to finally crack the final dungeon...

I know ShadowTiger mentioned not whole "not changing the duplicated rooms system" earlier but seriously, if any dungeon can instantly benefit from being merged into one map and using scripts to control the placement of the compass blocks it's the final dungeon.
Also the final dungeon owns and satisfied my masochistic tendencies with gusto. That place destroyed me in the several months it took to finally finish and finishing it was the most satisfying thing.

Hell, I'm just happy that your computer is fine again. To heck with DoY.New battery came in the mail a couple days ago...and it seems like it's working fine. Looks like I'm in the clear again.

I'm certainly able to agree with you on that one on both counts. It'd be interesting to implement though. I keep thinking of it being a global script to keep track of which direction it's on, and an FFC to control the Plus configuration. Question is, how will it handle having two buttons on the same screen?I know ShadowTiger mentioned not whole "not changing the duplicated rooms system" earlier but seriously, if any dungeon can instantly benefit from being merged into one map and using scripts to control the placement of the compass blocks it's the final dungeon.

Also, hi! Bold and italic and whatnot. Good to see you again, jman. How the hell are you?

Several months?
...This doesn't bode well for me. ![]()
I think it'll take me some time to get my bearings again. This report's on the shorter side.
(Endgame Spoilers)
Notes:
-Now that I think about it, what do you accomplish by going and destroying that weapon after the 6th boss? Is there something you can't do until you destroy it? It was never really spelled out in game...
