What do I send you?! What gives you the error?! What is the error?!

You're not making this easy for me (hint: nouns > pronouns).

Okay, sounds like a forum problem. But you can view this topic just fine?

Take this problem to the assistance/propositions forums; it has nothing to do with this quest.

As a suggestion, if you intend on any future updates: For the beginning, you may want to put a row of bushes blocking the way out of the village. You may also consider making the pond shallow water, and placing the sword as an invisible item pick-up combo on one of the shallow tiles. I found it, but only after three deaths exploring outside the village, as the first person you meet tells you to visit Zelda at the temple, and I figured the sword was there.

I went to most of the screens surrounding the area trying to find the sword, and the temple, and had my rear handed to me a few times by enemies, then went back to the village, scoured it for the temple, put the controller down, had some whiskey, and went back to the game.

Only after I figured out that i could converse with people that did not have a speech bubble did I find out about the boy, and then I drowned myself in the pool twice. It's fine to make the start a bit of a quest to get used tot he game style, but I had five deaths because of a bit of out-of-sequencing, and because the clues are a tad off (and out of order).

You might want to add a string to the guy who tells you to visit Zelda '...and don't forget to bring your sword and shield m'lad. It's dangerous to go without!' this also informs the player that the temple is indeed, outside the village proper. I also suggest having the fairy in the DW portal state that 'If you choose to go, there is no way back.', as many players will think that the text is to warn you of the difficulty, but not that it's a one-way trip.

Otherwise, it's been fun so far. I like what you've done with the 2.5 features and I look forward to making some real progress in the game.

I'll consider those features, but keep in mind that the area outside the path to the temple is walled off by 'magic boulders', and the item (raft) required to reach the temple is in an easy-to-see chest blocked by bushes. Bushes blocking the village would seem just a little bit more forced than the same bushes blocking a chest.

Having the fairy warn you about the one-way trip sounds good, though.

I'll also have a look at some of the ambiguous clues and pond of death, too. However, the pond serves as a warning that you can drown in deep water before you go drown yourself surrounded by enemies.

I've run into a problem. I have found the bow but I can't use it, even after picking up arrows. Does anybody know why, or how to fix it? I'm using ZC 2.5 RC4 by the way.

You need the quiver. It's hidden elsewhere in the same dungeon.

Whoops, I thought I had already found the quiver. Thanks for the help though.

Hey MoscowModder!

I completed the temple in the forest (LW) and doon't know where to go. Already bought everything from every shop I found. Do I need the whistle? If so, where do I get it?

The whistle can be found somewhere around Hyrule Field (not officially named in the quest, but that's what it basically is) after you get the hookshot.

There is one more dungeon you can visit without the whistle, but there's a little something to find near the start of the path to it before you can get there.

Spoiler

Thanks! I'll try it!

EDIT: Do I need the flippers? I don't have them... Or is there something to do with the boat?
