Pokemonmaster64:
If you already have the first upgrade into your sword, go to Vikkatlan Isle and look for a small enclosed area with suspicious emptyness (not a big walk from the whistle warp point) and slash away.
Trivia time:
-The name "Vikkatlan" comes from Hungarian grammar. "-tlan" and "-tlen" at the end of a word in Hungarian is the same nullifier attachment that is "-less" at the end of an English word. So, it means "an isle with no Vikka". Frankly, it would be written as "Vikkátlan" if CoP was Hungarian.
-Prince is based on the first antagonist type character I made up, sometime in elementary school.

I'm so grateful for these nice words, this is what reassures me that all those development time wasn't in vain.
Mt.Piece is indeed the end, all you can do is to explore around. It's a sneak peek at the Ellivenia story, for what you see is minutes before the start of Ellivenia: Compensating Soul, the story that I keep making in mind. Notable story peeks include the statue room where you can't pass (Estemira can) and the stone circle that nothing can get into (till some hours later... when the scene that you seen before L7 happens).
All endings have an extra area afterwards.
Stray Sheep found almost all secrets, but there are still some I remember to be untaken so far. I remember two.
1. A missable secret scene in a dungeon, you can access it with ZQ limitation abuse (I intentionally left it like that and made it lead to the secret in question).
2. This is not a secret area or item, just something story related to notice. Maybe some people already noticed just didn't see as THAT important. Too see this hidden thing, keep in mind that if a seemingly meaningless thing is mentioned often, then it's not meaningless. Also consider most areas are played in different times, but some are close to each other.
This L5 thing should be fixed now, I'm just wondering about L6... Somebody (Maybe Zckrazee?) said he missed the first item and needed to restart the area... I hope such won't happen with others.

Yeah i found that number 2 thing. And congratulation to Stray Sheep for great play of CoP.

Oh wow, that was a very obscure secret trigger even now that I've grown accustomed to your confusing secret triggers. icon_razz.gif

I got to the new area and walked into a car and died...WTF?

The thought of CC in elementary school is very strange to me for some reason...icon_razz.gif

Finished the game with "best ending"...bonus area, Mt. Piece,- killed the spider creatures outside the cave, but then was told I can't pass through and to "guess who can" - Is this the end? Overall, very nice job - lately quests have not been keeping my absorbed interest, This quest however did not do that to me. I enjoyed it very much...5/5...and I really believe there was too much undue criticism over bugs as I had a relative bugfree romp - there are always places where you get awkwardly snagged in places, but F6 continues or saves solve the problem. I encountered very few of those....not enough to make a big deal out of it though - it did not disrupt the flow of the game. Using the correct build heads off a lot of the problems discussed in this thread. I found no need for a cheat code - the only issue was using keys in the correct order in the one dungeon - if that was fixed (and by the way, heads up game playing strategy would solve those key issues in this quest AND in others that I have played) and if that key issue was fixed, players should have NO PROBLEMS completing this quest because of bugs; NOR should a cheat have to be used to finish the game. I think CastChaos has taken some unwarranted harsh criticism in a dignified manner. He has my respect for not only his questmaking abilities but also for his willingness to help players in a most friendly way. Hats off to CastChaos for this quest and for all that he does to keep the Zelda Classic community a fun and friendly environment. Cheers!!

Yes and me too give 5/5 but Castchaos know that i like Seasoned Blood very much.

Where do I go to find level 6? I found this place called "Haze" but it seems I need the level 4 sword or something to hit a switch...The only other way requires the level 3 boomerang...

I will take CC's advise and play Shadow Wars II (not fond of classic tile sets, but it's the mental thing that should matter out over the visual - though it is nicer with the more visually appealing tile sets).anywho, Shadow Wars II it is !!! Game on!

So you look for arrows in lvl2 ok here it goes again. go to the middle section of F1 in Fort Boyard and you see
some stairs take those and you should find the arrows.

Pokemonmaster64:
Yes, through haze. North from its entrance is a trigger requiring the L1 sword. Now, some betas/alphas (or just rc2) has a habit of not registering sword hits on screens where the "Alma is invisible" screen flag is checked. If that's the case for you, you need to use the security cheat I gave you. This is also among the reasons for why I haven't started BBIV yet... 2.10.0 isn't playable for everyone, but the later versions aren't bugless for anybody. So even the best choice can't provide many clean players.
I can believe it's hard to imagine me in elementary school, after all, the first 2-3 years of me posted here were very middle school-ish, the next 3 were college-ish and now I'm past college... That's three non-elementary school states. As an elementary school-er, I wouldn't even be making anything past Classic. I never was like somebody who tried to make a huge scene quest with custom graphics as a 8-14 year old.

I provided you the link to the newest version and the L4 cheat and showed where to use it... 0_O

congratulations to the super players who have completed this super quest! chief, i can only echo your statements. i salute the quest maker in all respects...

i resumed playing level 8 after losing my momentum. Just when I thought I was cruising,.... Got all items except boss key.

There are two areas I can't get the keys, both with warps in them
1. Room after the gleeok, I activated the crystal, the barricade doesn't come down.
2. Room southeast of it, there's an exposed key. I activated the torch, the barricade/fence doesn't come down.

I assume the accesses are through the warps, but where?

Geeez.... NVM... Got the boss key AND found them both icon_eek.gif icon_biggrin.gif ! Very clever. level 8 again, did not disappoint!

Oh wow. That explains it. Good old RC2, having the strangest bugs ever. 'Tis the price I pay for being a mac user. Thanks for the cheats though. Trying my best not to abuse them. :3

From restored L5, go back to Gridlock and keep walking east. There will be a passage that requires the L5 items, so that you get into Haze. You need to go further east only later, for now you need to go north. You need to use sword there, so if you are playing on a version that doesn't let sword triggers function when you are invisible, you need to pass that one screen with the L4 cheat I gave you.
