Okay update, still working on Oot, but right now just got "Sonic colors" On the DS, Pretty good so far, Still cant wait to play the Wii version, this Xmas, since my dad bought it for me, but I have to wait to play it
Just as a warning, the DS version of the game is much better than the Wii version. It's shorter, but it has a better developed plot, better integrated power ups, MUCH better level design, better physics, and just all around is more fun. So don't get your hopes up too much for the Wii version.
And now for my update:
Twilight Princess (Wii): After playing SS, playing TP is... interesting, to say the least. I keep trying to do Skyward Strikes. >_>
Boktai: I keep getting really into it for a few days, then forgetting about it. But dang it's fun.
And that's pretty much it, really. Unless you count Ghost Trick, which I've been averaging maybe half an hour a month.
Well, got done with sonic colors on the DS, and it was okay, I would rate it 7.0/10, the game was pretty fun, but the missions, was way beyond annoying.
another thing playing it on the DS is kinda annoying because, the two screens,, a hard to keep up with, thats just me though. And right now, I'm playing "Sonic heroes", boy i haven't played my Ps2 in so long XD, But so far so good.
And one more thing. It seems My Christmas, is going to be a Sonic Christmas, and by that I mean, so far My gifts consist of but not limited too, "Sonic colors Wii" "Sonic rush" Some Sonic Dvd's from my sister <3, And maybe "Sonic Unleashed" xD, I call this my Sonic themed Christmas, lol
Alrighty, so I have quite a few games in my Playing Now/Soon Queue... Zelda: Skyward Sword, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Zelda: Wind Waker, Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition, and Mario Kart 7... Yes, I am on a huge Zelda kick right now.
Okay, One last update from me, for a while, My friend, Had a "Sonic Adventure DX" for the Pc, And his computer wouldn't play It, At all. So he told me If it could be played on my computer, He said I could have it, So..It works great on my computer!, so..Yes!! another Sonic game In my collection.
And Sonic adventure dx, Pretty much Awesome, I love it! <3, It really beats playing Sonic Heroes, <_< That game has some issues, lol.
That sounds like a blast! I have the GameCube version, and I still love playing through the Sonic and Tails levels. The PC version seems better in my opinion, because there are so many mods you can use on it. Just on YouTube alone, there're a whole bunch of graphics mods to try and make the game look more current.
I've been getting games from the library. The selection sucks, and it takes an eternity to actually get the games you put on hold, but it's basically free rentals. I just finished New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. Didn't finish Epic Mickey, but that one seemed too full of fetch quests and I couldn't bring myself to try to finish it. Next one coming in should be Donkey Kong Country Returns, I'm looking forward to that one. I'll probably get around to re-checking out Galaxy, just to try and finish all the stars.
I'm almost done with Resonance of Fate. I'm 40 hours in. I can officially say it's one of the best JRPGs this generation. I highly recommend it. I'm also finishing up Skyward Sword. I just beat the 5th dungeon. Grandia 3 is now on hold because my Disc 2 is defective . I ordered a replacement copy in "Like New" condition.
Now for some odd reason, I'm getting hooked into Kirby's Epic Yarn which I got for $8 at Best Buy. It might be the overall charm of the game. This might be the best looking game on the Wii.
with that out of the way, After getting the games I wanted for Christmas, which is
Sonic Unleahsed (Wii)
Sonic Colors (Wii)
Sonic Rush
right now I'm playing Sonic colors just to take a break from sonic unleashed, and I'm stuck on Sonic unleashed, on the final boss...<_<, and I'm also playing Sonic rush, but I hit a snag! Zone 6, is freaking hard >.<, so right now, I'm totally stuck on two games D:
If any one has any advice on Sonic Unleashed' (final boss) or (Sonic rush' Zone 6), Please give me advice, I'm having such a hard time with them two games its retarded.
I've just ordered the PC version of Sonic Generations, and it's downloading now. I just have to wait another... *checks* 9 hours and 23 minutes. I miss just going to the store and buying my games on disc. Yeah, it was an hour each way, but it's still so much faster than this.
As of right now, I've been playing the DS version of Chrono Trigger, and HATING Mount Emerald with a burning passion. When I finish this game and see all the endings (I've played the PS1 port and beat it, but had to return it to my friend after 1 ending.), I'm going to play Crimson Echoes, then Chrono Cross. I know Crimson Echoes is just a hack, and shouldn't be treated as anything more than interactive fan-fiction, but I'm kind of curious as to how well the details hold up to Chrono Trigger's slightly expanded storyline. After all, they made Crimson Echoes after Chrono Cross came out, and meant for their story to fit between the two games, so it should still work after the DS remake of Chrono Trigger, right?
I also have Okamiden for when I get bored of my other games (never played Okami), as well as Radiant Historia for after Chrono Cross (I like time travel ideas). When I get around to it, I've been wanting to finish re-playing The World Ends With You and getting all the secret reports. I accidentially sold a needed 1-time-only pin on my first playthrough, and had to start over.
After all this, if I have the money, Kingdom Hearts - Dream Drop Distance should be out. Hopefully by then, I'll be able to afford to buy the game and I might have a 3DS by then. Other than that, I've been puttering around on American McGee's Alice, but it doesn't seem to be quite as good as I had hoped. Maybe it'll work a bit better if I get a USB controller for my laptop, but it seems to be a bit of a disappointment. I might actually turn down Madness Returns if I ever get around to finishing this one.
Emulator-wise, I've been playing through the MegaMan X series. I'm up to game #2 right now, but I haven't been spending that much time on it. Usually, I just stick to hacks like Super Mario RPG Revolution. I'd recommend that one to anybody who enjoyed the original game. Same storyline, levels, etc. but the battle mechanics and enemy strategies are much different. For one thing, you don't get stat increases when you level up, and have to rely entirely on the bonus stats you get to pick for each level, but the level cap has been increased to 50. Didn't realize that until Punchinello, so I've been getting whipped again, and again, and again.
@Ventus
Sonic Unleashed
I'm going to guess you're talking about Dark Gaia. You start with a boxing minigame. It's easiest to simply dodge each swipe, and only counterattack with a quick one-handed punch. You should take zero damage here.
Next up is a trio of Daytime-style stages as Sonic. Each one finishes with a quick-time event to strike the boss's eye. Not much to say here, either.
Finally, you play as Super Sonic against Perfect Dark Gaia. Move left and right to pick up the rings, and watch the boss's claws. You'll see a quick line where he'll attack, so stay away from there. Each time you pick up enough rings, you'll be allowed to attack an eye. Dodge the boulders (Chip's directions on boosting DO NOT WORK, don't bother) and you'll deal damage when you hit the eye.
After a while, Dark Gaia will start using all six claws at once to attack. Dodge this by waiting in the EXACT CENTER of the screen. Even a touch off-center will cause damage, but it is the only safe spot on the screen.
I have the PlayStation 2 version of the game, but it should be identical to the Wii in every way except controls (obviously). Let me know if you still need help.
Sonic Rush, I can't help you with unless you can tell me which story you're playing. Sonic's story has a different level order than Blaze's story (IE Zone 1 for Sonic is Leaf Storm/Forest [I forget which], Blaze has Night Carnival).
By the way, make absolutely sure you're getting the Chaos Emeralds as you go. You can revisit levels to try again, and if you're having trouble, you can always pause the Emerald course, move the stylus to where you need to be, then double-tap pause. Sonic will teleport to the new location, and you can inch your way through trouble spots in the level. The True-Final level is probably the best part of the entire game. Dimps may screw up level design and physics, but I have to admit that their boss battles kick ass!
Started Hero Mode in Skyward Sword a couple days ago and beat level 1. Got sidetracked when I got a few games for Christmas; beat Sonic Generations in a couple of hours and played a few missions, but am now playing Arkham Asylum. Very cool, very unsettling game. First game that's really gotten to me in a while; it gets under your skin.
I've also got Metroid Prime 3, Other M, and Assassin's Creed II to start at some point, so I'm gonna be busy for a while.

Okay about sonic unleashed, thanks I'll try that, I never thought about hanging in the center of the screen to dodge the attack,
the part I was having a hard time is the part of the battle where you are super sonic, and you have too hit dark gaia's eyes.
And I'll try this in awhile, and I tell you how it went
And with Sonic Rush, I'm playing though Sonic's story.
and thanks for the tips with the Emerald Course's that very handy to know
Edit#1: Woohoo!! I finally beat Sonic unleashed Thanks Kurt91 , Now to see if I can get any further in Sonic Rush.
All right, since I know which Zone you're on (Altitude Limit, right?), I think I can help you out. Advice on the level itself is kind of difficult to give since it's all just "follow the path, dodge the obstacles", and I doubt that kind of help would be useful. I can kind of give advice on how to fight the boss. If that's what you're having trouble with, then here you go.
Spoiler
Okay, like most of the other battles against Eggman Nega, your main attack opportunity will most likely be immediately after he attempts a head-butt attack. However, unlike previous battles, this one has a bit of a shockwave/blast radius when he makes impact with the platform, so stay slightly farther away than you normally would.
Several times, he's going to attack in a way that will send him to the other side of the battlefield (what would normally be between Sonic's platform and the DS screen flips around to become the background). If this attack happens to hit you, be prepared to run in the opposite direction you normally would to get your rings back.
Another main attack Nega will use will be to leap into the air like a kangaroo, and try to hit you upon landing. Wait for him to actually start falling before dodging, and he'll be vulnerable to attack upon landing.
Finally, he'll sometimes try to use his propellors to blow you off the arena. Now, I don't know if this was intentional on Dimps's part or not, but if it was, it's pretty damn clever. Your best option to survive this attack is to put your DS down on a flat surface, and "run in place" with your fingers on the "A" and "B" buttons, like you would if you were 3 or 4 years old and would pretend your hand was a person with your index and middle finger as the person's legs.
Other than that, the only other advice I can give is basic general advice for Sonic bosses. Watch for patterns, be patient for an opening, and only grab a single ring when the battle starts. That way if you get hit and you can't grab the ring when it goes flying, you can grab another single ring out of the group very quickly. It turns each individual ring on the battlefield into about 5 hits if you're somehow skilled at re-catching rings and abysmal at actually fighting the boss.
Hope that helped! Just wait until the next two bosses, they're awesome!

Okay it was altitude Limit, It took me a while, but after going 1-UP gathering until I had about 20 or so, I went back and tried again, and this time mad it to the boss, the boss wasn't hard at all, Thanks for the advice on the boss .
The thing with altitude Limit, is I just suck at Sky based levels apparently, I guess you can...I hate high levels, its just the fact you know there is nothing for to land on at some parts of that level, Idk why I have trouble on every level thats based way beyond high, in terms of being located in the sky xD.
And I can not wait to see the next bosses, they sound like they are going to be awesome.
and onto sonic unleashed, The ending was pretty good, And I have to say, the credits are almost as-long, as, Final fantasy 13's credits, ha ha, but I'll be writing a review soon on that game, don't know when, but I will.
360: * Skyrim - This might possibly be my favorite Western RPG of all time. I'm glad I got this for $30 . * Vanquish - HOLY COW! Platinum Games, the creators of Bayonetta, delivers in this epic 3rd Person Shooter. This is a lot more fun than Gears of War IMO.
PS3: * Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Out of the 6 games I have for PS3, this game is the one that's keeping me hooked. I can't wait to play Uncharted 2 when I'm finished with this.
Wii: * The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Just beat the Imprisoned for the 3rd Time. I'm trying to get to the dragons.
Well, my list has changed vastly since I posted last. I am now playing Yoshi's Island, Metroid Fusion, Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, on the 3DS.
A new game I am playing on it though, is Mighty Switch Force, which is quite a fun game. Very interesting concept, and fairly challenging.
So yeah, my 3DS is getting a lot of playtime lately, although I need to finish up Skyward Sword sometime here in the near future, so I can get back to playing Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess!
