the bottom screen could use some love in the entering from the side factor, depending on the enemy spawnings, but I suspect you'd adjust when the black section is done, anyway. this area makes me think that there would be plant life tiles that would get crushed as Link stepped onto them, like the grass getting creased and the mushrooms getting squished... will you do any combos like that?

I'm not sure if I could do that..but it sounds like a good idea!
Maybe i'll look into some scripts.

It wouldn't need a script. Just use the Step->Next combo. It changes to the next combo in the list when Link steps on it.

I cleaned it up a bit. I kept the trees where they were in the top left screen, because I like them. There won't be enemies there, so there's no problem with them.
I also added two screens.
How's it now?
Oh, and changed the colors of the trees in the bottom left.

Edit - I just made my first enemy! The SpazzChu!!
First, he hurts you a whole heart, and walks like a crazy guy! And he's purple!
I might make a miniboss just like it, but insanely harder!

I'm trying out a possible "style" for the dungeons in my quest, heavily inspired by the Cave of Flames in MC. Also, notice how excited Link is that I tacked on two new hearts to the life meter.

Looks pretty basic, but being basic isn't bad. It looks nice, nice and simple. The colors seem to match the mood. Overall, pretty nice work. The one thing I would add is some detail to the floor, such as bones or rocks. A good amount of detail usually counterweights symmetrical-ness nicely.

I also see you were inspired by ST by the sword and shield, VERY nice!
I liked the old hearts better though, the design. But more in always better!

I've never played ST before in my life. But Jimmyb made those item sprites for the Spirit Tracks ZC quest that was in the making when Joe123 was still here, so I imagine that's why.

Also, in reference to the hearts, do you mean you like the graphics that are included with PR better or do you mean you liked it better when I was only using 10 HCs?

Anyways, I added bones and stuff.

Maybe it is just me but I don't like that water. It is LttP water with MC tiles, and the colors are also a little off... like turquoise with a purer blue. Idk, maybe change it to overworld LttP water or MC water.... not really sure. It is up to you, I might just be nitpicking. It looks great overall, I like the style.

What do you guys think of these cave/passage screens? I just discovered the "Torch" transparent layer trick, so they add a very needed touch

The last picture has the conveyors, which will make you fall off screen and lose a heart /evil
