You are using rc2

It's a well known bug with that beta.

Try using beta 18. just copy and paste the ZC.sav to keep your progress.

Colossal and linktopower beta tested Rc1 and Rc2 and discovered this quest is not beatable on either. Not only that it appears that alot of quests are experiencing similar problems on those.

I've been building on beta 18 which was released before these two betas which is the one on soulsofwisdom.com

It appears that all versions of Zeldaclassic 2.5 have compatible zc.sav formats so therefore keeping progression without starting over is a not a problem. The zc.sav file is like a memory card for Zeldaclassic, this is where all your progress is stored.

If you mean the Golden Sword. Din's Fire can be located at Lake Hylia. Use Din's Fire in the Shattered Temple.

Stuck I managed to reach the entrance area of Ganon's castle, but can't get beyond the first three rooms. The other help topics on this subject didn't really solve the problem ...

I have found the arrow trigger and the two curtain spots which uncover the water pool. In the first room, there is a strange invisible block in the water which I can't swim through. diving doesn't help, shooting or burning the area neither.

In the second room, there seems to be a fairy hidden under the carpet which disappears when the pool is uncovered. And the arrow spot in the third room simply doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Any wise soul around who can help me out?

After hitting the arrow trigger, an invisible warp gets placed in the room. You can tell when you've found it because Link's position on the minimap suddenly changes. When that happens, walk through the door.

Thanks for the help! However,sadly I am stuck again ... not doing too well in Ganon's castle.

On the ground floor, I found two keys and I can see a third, but can't reach it. The ones I found were in the northwestern corner of the map (guarded by a fierce beast) , and in the south-east (bombable wall). Now I've run out of ideas. Is there a fourth key? Or is there a clever way to reach this visible key in the southwest? Is there something clever about the cloud near the entrance? This game is driving me bonkers ...

There's a key in the cloud. The tricky part is navigating the area underneath it.

I've read through the thread's discussion about finding the flippers, but I haven't found the cavern in the waterfalls that I need to.

OK...I think I found it and all the dodangos!!!

WHERE DO YOU GET "SUPERBOMBS"? ( I got the mirror shield; they're not in that cavern system, are they?) AND...How do you get the sword upgrade in Shattered Temple...someone said go in and out three times, didn't work for me if I did it the right way...another said Din's Fire (which I have no idea where that is...) Anybody have any help? Thanks a lot!!

Thanks... about the sword upgrade ( see my previous post) I see the hammer, now using the Lens...so far I've had one sword upgrade....is this what I should have ( I have 14 hearts)?

I need some help, i have been all over the lost woods and cut all the tall grass and can not find the mushroom that you need to give to the guy in the lost woods. i have beaten levels 1 & 2 and i have the bomb, candle, bracelet, blue ring, etc. can anyone help me please?

BTW, i am playing it on version 2.5 build 20

Can anyone tell me how or where you get the second sword upgrade...I am still playing with a blue-tinted sword and relevant pics in the thread show a red-tinted sword....what am I missing?? Thanks!!!
